MAINSTORY:

Ava and Ruby were living in their own little world, basking in the joy of their week-long vacation. The sun-kissed beaches, the sound of waves crashing against the shore, and the warmth of each other's company had them feeling carefree and happy. But on the other side of the bars, Nikolas was consumed by anxiety. The letter had changed everything, and he knew he had to act fast.

Nikolas had been planning his escape from jail for what felt like an eternity. He knew every detail, every move, and every risk. His plan was to pretend to be ill, to get himself transferred to the medical room, where his partner, a janitor in the jail, would be waiting to help him escape. Nikolas's partner had been secretly working with him, gathering information and waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

As Nikolas sat in his cell, he knew it was time to put his plan into action. He drank a lot of water before eating his meal, hoping to trigger a reaction. When the food arrived, he ate it quickly, trying to ignore the doubts creeping into his mind. As he expected, he soon felt queasy, and his stomach began to churn. He pretended to be sicker than he actually was, doubling over in pain.

The officers on duty noticed his distress and quickly sprang into action. "We need to get him to the medical room, now!" one of them shouted. Nikolas was relieved; his plan was working.

In the medical room, Nikolas's partner was waiting, dressed in a similar uniform. Nikolas's partner handed him a set of clothes and a mask. "Put these on, and we'll switch places. I'll stay here, and you'll be able to escape without anyone noticing," he whispered.

Nikolas quickly changed into the uniform and put on the mask. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart. He knew this was it – his chance to escape and make it to Ruby and Ava's wedding before it was too late.

With a newfound sense of determination, Nikolas nodded to his partner and made his move. He walked out of the medical room, trying to blend in with the other inmates and guards. His heart pounded in his chest, but he knew he had to keep going. He had to escape, no matter what.

As he walked down the corridor, Nikolas couldn't help but think of Ruby and Ava. He had to reach them before the wedding, to stop it from happening. The thought of losing them forever drove him forward, giving him the strength to keep going.

With every step, Nikolas felt himself getting closer to freedom. He knew the risks were high, but he was willing to take them. He had to save the people he loved, no matter what it took.

The clock was ticking, and Nikolas knew he had to move fast. He took a deep breath, steeling himself for what lay ahead. He was ready to face whatever challenges came his way, as long as it meant being with Ruby and Ava.

Nikolas's escape from jail was far from easy. Yet, he was taking each step with utmost caution, his heart pounding in his chest. Every creak of the floor, every rustle of his clothes, seemed to echo through the corridors, making him wince with anxiety. But he knew he had to keep moving, no matter what.

Just as he was about to breathe a sigh of relief, a police officer approached him, his voice low and urgent. "Your ride is waiting outside, Nikolas. You need to get out of here, fast." Nikolas's eyes locked onto the hawaldar's, and he nodded, a sense of gratitude washing over him. This hawaldar was part of his plan, someone he had bribed or convinced to help him escape.

With the police officer's help, Nikolas made his way out of the jail, the cool night air hitting him like a slap in the face. He took a deep breath, feeling a mix of relief and trepidation. The police officer led him to a car, and Nikolas slid into the passenger seat, his eyes scanning the surroundings. The car sped away from the jail, leaving the darkness and confinement behind.

As they drove, Nikolas's mind was racing with thoughts of Ruby and Ava. He had to reach them before the wedding, to stop it from happening. The thought of losing something forever drove him forward, giving him the strength to keep going.

The car finally pulled up to a villa, one that Nikolas had purchased for situations like this. He got out of the car, lit a cigarette, and took a long drag, feeling the nicotine coursing through his veins. As he walked towards the villa, he couldn't shake off the feeling that he was being watched.

As he entered the villa, he noticed a figure standing in the shadows. The figure was dressed in a black shirt and pants, with a black mask covering their face. Nikolas's instincts told him to be cautious, but he had no idea who this person was or what they wanted.

The figure stepped forward, and Nikolas felt a chill run down his spine. He fell to his knees, his hands clasped together in a desperate plea. "Please, don't kill me. I won't say anything to Ava. I'll keep the secret, I swear."

The figure leaned in close, their voice low and menacing. Nikolas felt a cold dread creeping up his spine as the figure whispered something in his ear. The words sent a shiver down Nikolas's spine, and his entire body froze, paralyzed with fear.

The figure turned and walked away, leaving Nikolas frozen in terror. As the door closed behind them, Nikolas was left alone, his mind reeling with fear and uncertainty. Who was this person, and what did they want from him? The darkness seemed to closing in around him, and Nikolas knew he was in grave danger.
