~{SAINT'S POV}~
*
The moment I approached her, I roughly caught her by the arm and made her face me.
She was still brewing in anger but I didn't care.
"WHAT RIGHT DO YOU HAVE TO COME HERE AND YELL AT US FOR TAKING JOSEPH IN? DO YOU THINK YOU'RE SOME SORT OF GOD? YOU ARE A MONSTER AND I DESPISE YOU WITH EVERYTHING, INGRID!"
There was rage in her eyes but there was bitterness in mine.
The longer I stared at her, the more I saw how her gaze slightly softened and she said in the same intensity but in a mature way, "Whatever I did for you to hate me this badly, I'm sorry. But I can't overlook the fact that you let Joseph in after what he did. How do you expect me to feel, Saint?"
For a moment there, I nearly fell for her act but I couldn't.
Tears threatened to fall from my eyes as the pain I carried for years finally came forth.
She was right before me but I couldn't do anything and that was the painful part about it.
