"Di Tian, you—!?"

Before Xue Di could finish her sentence, Di Tian launched an attack without hesitation.

There was no flashy display—just a simple swipe of his claw. A streak of black light tore through the forest, shredding hundreds of meters of trees in an instant.

Xue Di's gaze turned icy. If not for her battle-hardened instincts, that single strike would have left her severely injured.

Yet, Di Tian relentlessly pressed his assault, as if Xue Di had become his mortal enemy.

In this era, it was an unbreakable law that spirit beasts could not ascend to godhood—a curse placed upon their race by the gods.

Di Tian firmly believed this. Only the return of the Dragon God, the ancient sovereign of spirit beasts, could restore their race to its former glory.

Thus, in Di Tian's eyes, Xue Di—who had ascended to godhood—had become nothing more than a pawn of the gods.

Killable—

Divine Technique: Dragon God Claw!

As the most trusted confidant of the Dragon God, Di Tian had been taught this ultimate technique during his time as the Dragon God's chief guardian. Even though he had fallen from his divine position, this skill was still beyond the reach of ordinary divine-level beings.

Though the times had changed, the techniques of the Dragon God era remained formidable in this age.

However, becoming a god did not guarantee eternal strength.

Even Xue Di, at the peak of Divine Official level, found herself struggling against Di Tian. She now fully understood Ye Wen's assessment of him.

Her lips moved faintly.

"Battle Armor Activation—Heavenly Ice Dance of Snow!!!"

An overwhelming surge of freezing energy erupted, far surpassing the strongest extreme ice on Douluo Star.

Di Tian, who had been relentlessly attacking, felt the despair-inducing cold and couldn't help but change his expression.

"Impossible!

How could your extreme ice, as a mere Divine Official, evolve to the level of divine ice in just over a decade?"

Graceful and elegant, breathtakingly beautiful, Xue Di simply stood there, exuding an aura of inviolable majesty.

The five-word Battle Armor she now wore was crafted by Ye Wen using divine power. It granted even Title Douluo-level users the ability to touch the threshold of Tier 3 divine strength—a truly godly weapon.

Though its amplification was somewhat diminished for Xue Di, who was already at the peak of Divine Official level, providing only a tenfold boost, it was more than sufficient.

"Surprised, Di Tian? This is no longer the age of your dragon race. Since you refuse to listen quietly, allow me to subdue you first." Xue Di's voice was icy.

With that, she condensed an ice sword in her hand.

"Emperor Sword!!!"

Simplicity was the essence of mastery. With a gentle swing of her sword, Xue Di forced Di Tian to go all out in defense.

Though Di Tian had once been a God-King-level powerhouse, under the terrifying might of the God of Retribution's divine power, his divine position had shattered, and his cultivation plummeted to the level of an 800,000-year quasi-divine being.

But even with 800,000 years of cultivation, Di Tian remained the undisputed strongest spirit beast on Douluo Star, unmatched even by the million-year Deep Sea Demon Whale King.

This was all thanks to his training under the Dragon God and his profound understanding of natural laws.

Extreme Darkness: Black Dragon Sword!

Black Dragon Domain!

Myriad Dragon Blaze!

Facing Xue Di, now fully empowered with multiple buffs, even Di Tian felt overwhelmed. He unleashed his self-created soul skill—the Black Dragon Sword.

This was an elemental blade forged from extreme darkness, capable of corroding other elements.

But that alone wasn't enough. Di Tian activated his domain and his secondary fire attribute to counter Xue Di's extreme ice.

Though his cultivation had fallen, his extreme darkness and flames still operated at the level of a divine being. For a moment, the two seemed evenly matched.

At this point, Di Tian roared furiously.

"Xue Di! Why have you betrayed the spirit beasts?! Have you abandoned your Great Northern Tundra?!"

The Great Northern Tundra was indeed Xue Di's weakness, but now, fully aware of the rules of the God Realm, she sneered at Di Tian. That didn't mean she would silently endure his threats.

Xue Di coldly replied, "You are both foolish and arrogant, Di Tian. Let me show you the full extent of my power. Emperor Sword—Emperor Palm—Emperor Frost Heaven!!!"

In that instant, Xue Di unleashed everything she had, bringing forth the pinnacle of her life's work—the three ultimate techniques of the Snow Empress.

Born and nurtured by nature, this one-of-a-kind Snow Goddess possessed unparalleled talent in the art of ice and snow. Had she not been constrained by the rules of her previous world, Xue Di would never have met such a tragic end.

In a flash, snow blanketed the heavens and earth. More than half of the lush Great Star Forest was shrouded in ice and frost.

The three ultimate techniques of the Snow Empress were not just moves—they were also her comprehension of natural laws.

The vast power of heaven and earth surged forth, transforming into a divine ice strike capable of slaying gods.

Di Tian's golden dragon eyes widened in shock as he mobilized the dual Yin-Yang soul cores within his body, pushing his soul power to its limits. He unleashed his ultimate attack—the Dragon God Claw—to face this strike head-on.

Time seemed to stretch endlessly, yet also pass in the blink of an eye. When the dust settled, Di Tian's massive dragon form was impaled on a colossal pillar of ice, pinned to the ground.

Indeed, Di Tian no longer had the strength to transform into human form. Struck by this attack, it felt as though all the soul power in his body had been frozen solid, forcing him to revert to his original form.

Xue Di stood silently beside him, her presence aloof and commanding.

Di Tian's majestic golden dragon eyes glanced at Xue Di as he slowly asked,

"Who is the god standing behind you?"

"It is not yet time for my god to appear."

"I see… Then kill me if you will. There are no cowards among my dragon race who fear death. You won't extract anything from me."

At this moment, Di Tian assumed that the god behind Xue Di sought information about the Silver Dragon King's hidden location, so he chose to face death with dignity.

Though his cultivation had fallen, the foundation of his divine soul remained intact. Even if his soul were imprisoned, he could choose to self-destruct, ensuring mutual destruction or at least inflicting heavy damage.

"Forgive me, Lord Dragon God. It seems I must take my leave first." Di Tian closed his eyes, resigned to his fate.

He waited for what felt like an eternity, yet his body remained intact.

"What's the matter? Has the once Emperor of the Great Northern Tundra decided to humiliate a defeated foe?"

After another long wait, the feeling of impending death grew unbearable. Di Tian glared at the seemingly diminutive figure of Xue Di beside him.

"What do you want? Kill me if you're going to. Don't think you'll get any information out of me."

Xue Di tilted her head slightly.

"Nothing much. I just wanted to see how stupid the Black Dragon King, whom my god described as utterly foolish, truly is. Now that I've seen it, I can confirm my god was right—you really are quite stupid."

Fury!

Was she planning to insult him further after defeating him? How despicable.

Di Tian struggled to rise, intent on arguing with Xue Di about his supposed stupidity.

(A/N: Rebalancing Di Tian's combat strength. The original portrayal was too weak—even a fallen God-King shouldn't be unable to defeat a Divine Official. The key to divine strength lies in the comprehension of natural laws.)
