Having learned from past mistakes, Tang Hao truly hadn't come to the Tianxing Village area.

After all, it was precisely because Ah Yu had randomly entered a village while giving birth that their location was exposed. Even if Tang Hao were an idiot, he wouldn't dare settle down in another random place so carelessly.

Moreover, every year, many soul masters visited Tianxing Village to pay homage to Ye Wen's former residence. With so many people around, it would be far easier to expose oneself.

With Ye Wen's current divine awareness, he could effortlessly scan an area spanning nearly a hundred miles. This was the easiest and fastest way to locate Tang Hao. However, doing so might also tip him off.

Tang Hao had completed the Hell Road of the City of Slaughter, and his Heavenly Halberd Hammer contained the Killing God Domain, which was powered by the Asura God's divine consciousness—a tool used to identify potential godhood successors. It was this divine mark that allowed Asura God to later brazenly compete with the Sea God for candidates.

If Ye Wen used this method to search for Tang Hao, it might alert the Asura God in the divine realm. And if the Asura God were to scheme against him, even Ye Wen would feel a chill run down his spine. Better to play it safe for now. There was no rush; he could take his time and enjoy the local scenery.

Around Notting City, there were hundreds of villages large and small. Searching through all of them would be no small task. But Ye Wen had plenty of time on his hands—no harm in taking it slow. By the way, the upcoming civilian martial soul awakening day was approaching. He could even visit Notting City directly to see if there were any innate full-soul-power vine-type martial souls. After all, despite being weakened, the Thunderclap Hell Vine was still fundamentally a plant.

Though Ye Wen didn't find Tang Hao in Tianxing Village, he did discover the location of Ah Yin's waterfall from the original story. Looking at the empty cave, Ye Wen clicked his tongue. It seemed his influence on this world was significant—Tang Hao hadn't planted the Thunderclap Hell Vine seed here. He had hoped to snag a piece of spirit bone.

As Tang Fo Zu once said, "Treasures of heaven and earth belong to those with virtue." With his reputation as Master Ye Wen, one of the most morally upright figures on the continent, the Thunderclap Hell Vine spirit bone should rightfully belong to him. But alas, it wasn't meant to be. A spirit bone of roughly 200,000 years wasn't something he lacked anyway.

Time passed slowly, and Ye Wen began to feel bored. Could Tang Hao have fled to another province?

"Hmm?"

High in the sky, Ye Wen, disguised as a wanderer, noticed a figure sitting atop a mountain, facing the rising sun, while passing by a rural village. The person had dark skin, a lean build, and wore patched-up clothes. Strangely, his eyes were purple.

It was him—it was him—wait, ugh!

Without a doubt, this was the reincarnated Tang San.

"The Purple Extreme Magic Eye, huh? So that's how it works. Pretty average, honestly. Though his previous life was from the background of Hua Xia, it was ultimately a low-martial-arts world, not a cultivation world. So, it's nothing special."

After observing for a while, Ye Wen quickly lost interest.

Soon after, Tang San practiced a bit of the Xuantian Technique.

There were some merits to it, but it couldn't improve innate aptitude. An innate soul power level of seven was inherently just seven—even if testing showed a full ten levels, it was merely an illusion.

Lightness Skill—Ghost Shadow Maze Steps.

Agile, yes, but lacking in explosive power. More suited for hit-and-run tactics.

Hand Training Method—Xuan Yu Hand.

Ah~ boring. Similar to Gangshi's techniques.

Control Skill—Crane Capture Dragon.

Somewhat interesting, but essentially reliant on overwhelming soul power to restrict opponents. If the opponent's cultivation far exceeded his own, it would be meaningless.

Hidden Weapon Techniques—

Pfft~ a true powerhouse could kill you head-on. Why resort to sneaky tricks like these?

The techniques were flashy, but the purity of power was too low.

The so-called ultimate skills Tang San brought over looked dazzling, but they were insignificant to a true powerhouse.

However, Ye Wen was curious about one thing: How did Tang San's previous low-martial-arts world manage to turn hidden weapons into tools with missile-like destructive power?

Unfortunately, he couldn't search Tang San's soul to satisfy his curiosity—not with the Asura God likely watching.

Having confirmed that Tang San's reincarnation had successfully arrived in this world, Ye Wen saw no reason to waste more time on him.

What good was being strong alone?

When Tang San eventually clashed with Qian Renxue, Ye Wen would step in to tip the scales, sending him straight to the divine realm instead of letting him stir up trouble.

That analogy made Douluo sound like a pile of crap. Gross. -_-||

Let's check what Tang Hao is up to now. Wonder if he's been a good father.

Judging by Tang San's ragged clothes, it didn't seem likely.

As expected, a dilapidated blacksmith shop in the village served as the shelter for Tang San and his father.

"What a waste. You've been defeated before—so what? Why give up like this? Disgusting," Ye Wen sneered.

In the original story, Tang Hao arrogantly claimed that being a soul master was useless. If he weren't a soul master, he'd have worked as a laborer earning three silver soul coins a month to support his family, dying young long ago. How would he even have the chance to sit here drinking alcohol?

Come to think of it, the people around Tang San in the original story were quite the bunch.

"No such thing as a useless martial soul, only useless soul masters"—Yu Xiao Gang.

"What's the point of being a soul master? I'd rather forge iron to buy wine"—Tang Hao.

"Gege"—Xiao Wu.

"A soul master who avoids trouble isn't a good soul master"—Flander.

"Phoenix of the Brothel."

"Evil-Eyed Lust Tiger."

There were quite a few oddballs.

Seeing Tang Hao shamelessly drink most of the porridge he had forced his son to cook before going back to sleep, Ye Wen was utterly speechless.

Setting aside everything else, aren't you supposed to be the second coming of Tang Chen?

Get up and train to level 99 already! Once you reach 99, combined with the Hao Tian Sect's ultimate techniques like Exploding Rings and the Great Sumeru Hammer, what grudge can't you settle? Yet here you are, wallowing in self-pity.

Did you hammer Qian Xunji into stupidity, or did Qian Xunji beat you senseless?

Another wave of internal ranting washed over Ye Wen. But then, something caught his attention.

"Hmm! Tang Hao's blood qi is abnormal right now. It seems the Exploding Rings technique really has unimaginable side effects.

He must have used the Exploding Rings immediately after absorbing his ninth soul ring while still unstable, causing even greater harm to himself.

Without access to the Nine-Heart Begonia for treatment, these injuries are severely hindering his cultivation. No wonder he's given up here.

But that's still no excuse for abusing your son. If you truly loved Ah Yu, why treat your own child this way? Did you already notice something unusual about Tang San?

No, even a normal person could spot something off about Tang San, let alone a powerful Title Douluo with heightened spiritual awareness."
