Nori stood his ground, though his fingers trembled slightly at his sides. He looked Ryosuke dead in the eye and asked quietly, "So… if I decide to tell you no right now… what would you do?"
Ryosuke's smile faded, his gaze sharpening like a blade.
He didn't answer right away. Instead, he stepped closer, slow and composed, until he was just a breath away. His voice dropped to a near whisper, thick with something possessive—dangerous.
"I'd walk away," he said. "But only for now."
Then, leaning in even closer, he murmured, "I'm not the kind of man who hears no and forgets. You saying no wouldn't stop me from wanting you. It would only make me more curious… more determined."
He straightened up slightly, eyes still locked on Nori. "So think carefully before you answer. Because once I really decide I want something, Nori… I don't stop."
