A soft voice called out to me. It was comforting, and I felt my eyes opening on their own.
As I looked around, I saw unfamiliar faces. A young woman and a man were in from of me. They looked kind, but I didn't know them. The woman smiled and said, "Choi Hae-sung, that's your name."
I was confused. I looked at my hands and my eyes widened in shock. I became a baby. I tried to speak, but all that came out were random sounds. "Abu... eh?" I attempted to speak, but my words were just babble.
I was frustrated. I didn't ask for this. I wanted to be regressed, nor transferred into some random baby's body. I tried to make sense of my situation, but everything was unclear.
'The system must've made a mistake.'
I looked at the woman who was supposed to be my mother. She smiled at me, but I didn't understand what was happening. They were speaking in Korean, a language I didn't learn. I'd watched some K-dramas, so it sounded a bit familiar, but I couldn't understand what they were saying.
The man said something, and the woman responded. "Our child looks so cute, right?" he said. The woman smiled and said, "Yes, but it's strange... he doesn't cry. Aren't babies supposed to cry when they're born?" I continued making some baby sounds as they kept talking, "Oooh?"
Days passed, ans I got used to this new lide. I found out that I'd been transferred into a baby's body a month before my youngest sister was born. It was clearly a mistake made by the system, but I didn't worry about it too much. Our house is massive and luxurious, so I guessed my family is wealthy.
But one thing surprised me - the baby I am in is a boy. I'd never thought I'd be a boy. It was a big change, but I decided to just go with it. In the past, I've always wanted to be a boy and now that I am one, I sometimes miss being a girl but past is past.
I'd just live my life and see what happens, to be specific, I will just live my life halfheartedly.
Time was ticking and finally, it was time to eat.
My mother prepared the milk formula and my bottle, it looks so appetizing that I couldn't help but drool. It seems like baby insticts got over me.
As soon as my mother finished preparing my food, I quickly reached out to the bottle.
"Abubu!"
My mother smiled and started speaking in korean, "Ooh? my Hae-sung must've liked the new milk formula I bought."
I only understood some words that my parents spoke, but everything else was unfamiliar.
I quickly finished my milk bottle, my mother place it on the table and gently wiped my mouth with a towel.
She carried me in a comfortable position, making me feel sleepy and I slowly closed my eyes while I was on my mother's arms.
To be continued...
