Jason picked a few photos he was satisfied with, then sent them to his phone before happily letting Joy off the hook.
"What's going on? Why does she look so down and mopey?" After taking photos for nearly an hour, Delphine hadn't moved a muscle, which was a bit eerie. Joy quietly tugged at Jason and asked.
"No clue." Jason didn't even look up, mulling over which photos to post on Weibo. After a long pause, he added gossipily, "When I went to pick her up, she was squatting in front of a tiny newsstand. She didn't even have money to make a phone call. Pretty pitiful, don't you think? I'm definitely going to make her a star."
Joy nodded, recalling how hard-working Delphine was during filming, and whispered, "Ask her what happened. If she doesn't have a place to stay tonight, let her stay over at your place—or you can crash at mine."
