The flight back to Beijing wasn't what Jazmine Harrison had expected. Emily Carrol had failed to appear for some reason, and Jazmine had to message her to meet directly in Beijing. That left her with more alone time than she had anticipated—with Sebastian Crowne.
But no matter how much time they spent together, it always felt like too little. The hours vanished like sand through her fingers.
Sebastian made her promise that she would spend more time with him—or else he'd force her to move in with him. Jazmine was aghast. He couldn't be serious. She was still married! But she also wasn't stupid enough to test his resolve. So, she agreed. Still looking glum at having to part ways, Sebastian was reluctant to leave.
With a sigh, Jazmine gave him a kiss to bribe him. That seemed to do the trick. Like an obedient puppy who just got his treat, he let her go, grinning like a fool.
