Chapter 13 - XIII. Lavish Meal for Instructor

At the distant cliff that were previously seen from the spacious open field..

At the very top of the cliff, near the edge of it, there was multiple log cabins in the area, it wasn't just a few, but rather big enough for it to be called a small village, the cabins was used as a base for the instructors and their subordinates to rest, half of the instructors subordinates was patrolling down the cliff, while some of them took role as a guard at the slave's shack, making sure that none of them would escape.

In one of the log cabin, that has a banner tied to its door with a symbol of strange combination of weapons, all 6 instructors were having a meal inside, their table was filled with luxurious food such as roasted meat and beer, extremely contrasting with what the slaves had for their meal.

One of the instructor, who has a symbol of Dagger behind him, raised his beer mug and told the others to cheers.

"Cheers!" He said.

"Cheers!"

Once they've cheered with their drinks, the instructors then started to devour their food, each of them took a bite from the roasted meats and gulped them down like a pig.

"Mrrghh.. By the way, Sword–" Said the instructor Spear, his eyes was staring at Sword. "How's that student who you picked first at the beginning of the training, what was his name again? i think it's Mash?.."

Sword swallowed his food before responding. "Hmm, he's doing well as expected, i won't allow you to snatch him away, just get rid of that thought if you have it."

"Hohh? Is he really that talented as you had expected? Well that's something." Spear said as he cut through the meat to a bite size. "Other than him Chomp.. Is there anyone else performed exceptionally well?"

Suddenly, Scythe and Dagger raised their hand at the same time, Spear gave the first privilege to talk to Dagger.

"There's someone in my group that is beating everyone else in every aspect, that guy's name is Zen, seriously that guy is a monster for his age, i had to personally increase the training difficulty just for him– Ah.. But it was exhilarating to hear his scream when i stab his arm, i couldn't hold myself back, he's way too interesting.." Dagger said, his sly mouth was grinning.

Then, it's Scythe's turn. "Hmm, as for me and my students—

"Students? You call those slaves your students? You must be crazy.." Sword abruptly cuts off Scythe mid-sentence.

"Hm, i guess you're right, but i think it's more comfortable for me to call them students, afterall i am training them, so in a way i'm also a teacher." Scythe said, keeping a cold face and voice.

Only inside of that Cabin all of the instructors took off their hood and masks, their actual faces was surprisingly way more tame than one would expect, the only thing that was odd is how cunning they all look.

Scythe's appearance was actually pretty accurate with how his voice sounded like, a rough middle-aged man with a large battle scar on his left eye and a gray hair that stretches way past his ears but not enough to reach the shoulders.

"Hmm.. Alright, do whatever you want i guess." Sword said, he was listening to the convo all along while chewing on his food.

"Right– There's actually someone in my group that i think possessed enough potential to be qualified, if he keeps growing with the pace that i've predicted, he would most likely grow to be equal with the guards." Scythe said, continuing from where he left off.

"Oh? who is he?" Dagger asked.

"His name is Carsel, the noble from Bloodheir family." Scythe replied.

"Ahh, him.. I see, well i guess it's to be expected from the Bloodheir family which is known to have a great swordsman genetics running through their blood." Dagger said as he shrugged his shoulders. "You're the one who kidnapped him right? Axe."

The attention was shifted to axe, he wasn't listening to any of the conversation as he thinks it's just a small talk and hold no significance to him, but now that their conversation has reached to about his name, it seems like he can't ignore it any longer.

"Huh? what?" Axe said, didn't quite hear with what Dagger had just said.

"You're the one who kidnapped Carsel right?" Dagger asked him.

"Hah? that? Yeah i think it was me, that piss haired noble, now shut up, i'm enjoying my beer." Axe responded with slight frustration.

"Hmm, speaking of Noble, what about that princess who was mistakenly kidnapped?" Sword suddenly spoke, he knew Axe didn't want to be bothered so he averted the attention from him.

"Princess?" Dagger tried to recall what Sword meant, and immediately his brain remembered it. "Oh? haha.. That Princess Calea? Yeah i don't know what happened to her, she could've already died."

"Haaah! That poor princess! We never even intended to kidnap her in the first place! It was because of Hammer mistake and his stupid hearing problem!" Axe shouted, his beer mug was empty, and from his face alone, anyone could tell that he's drunk.

"Huh, what did i do!? I was only doing what Sword told me.." Hammer replied, he didn't say a thing until now because the truth is, his hearing was somewhat problematic.

Hammer couldn't really hear well, some parts of his ears was cutted off by a sharp weapons, whether it be a sword or something else, either way, it looks as if someone had taken a bite out of his ear.

Sword sighed at Hammer. "This deaf motherfucker, i forgot about his hearing problem and assigned him to kidnap the two princes of Lunarfall— You, hammer, you mistook Princes for Princess!! I said Princes!! Not Princess! You know how confused i and the other was when we saw you carrying Princess Calea on your shoulder!? I thought you were supposed to bring Leoth and Valden!!" He shouted at the table so that Hammer can hear every single words he said, there must not be anything that is left behind that isn't getting through Hammer's ears.

It was a shocking truth that was revealed, Calea was never meant to ended up in this place, their original plan was to kidnap the two Princes Leoth and Valden, however because of Hammer limited hearing, he instead took Calea which was something the instructors hadn't planned or expected.

"Hoooohh?.. Did i do that? Ahahaha! Well, that's your fault for not telling me their names, if you didn't say Princes and instead said Leoth and Valden, that mistake wouldn't happen! I'm also having a hard time escaping with the princess in my hands dumbass!! You never knew how tight their security was!! Seriously if i didn't plant a lot of Fire Element Magic Crystals throughout the castle and carried two people instead of one, i would probably get caught that night!" Hammer complained, mentioning how difficult it was to be sneaky and kidnap Calea without being seen or heard.

"Agh!! Whatever! The training had already begun, so it's no use talking about it." Sword said as he scratched the back of his head.
