RIAN'S POV
"You should see the grin on your face right now, you look so happy," Maya said to me.
"Do I?" I asked her. I had no idea my excitement was that obvious.
"I suppose now you're free to do all the experiments you want with no restrictions so that's why," she commented.
She was right I was definitely excited about that part.
Once I organized all my ingredients in the jars I had received, I then started my experimenting. Once I figured out the specific uses of the ingredients I could figure out what medicines to make. Hopefully there would be something promising
The following day I went as usual with the hunting group. Maxus came this time.
"Since you're here Chief I suppose I can watch over our healer today," he said to Maxus as he looked at me.
My eyebrows raised in surprise before they narrowed in suspicion. Why was he offering to watch me? I asked myself.
Maxus raised his eyebrow as well.
"I'm just curious to see how your mate operates," Cairn further went on.
