Harper took a dart into her room leaving a slam on the door.George patted Clara on her shoulder giving her a warm, assuring smile walking up to his room but Clara was still nerve wrecked.
Luna in a brisk started applauding Clara sarcastically giving her a jolt. Luna moved nigh to Clara as she recoiled in fright.
"Whoa...Clara ! Thanks for bringing your jinx into our family. You're just arriving and there's so much you've done already" Luna gave Clara a terrifying look.
"You will cease speaking to your cousin in that manner Luna" a voice from no where interrupted Luna. And turning to see who it was,Luna sighted Gemma her mum's sister.
"The poor girl is already feeling so dismay and the least you could do right now is to shut up" Gemma continued.
"Are you for real aunt? Are you seriously taking her side?" Luna quizzed in surprise, already shaking in rage.
"I'm taking no one's side here. I'm just standing for what's right" Gemma affirmed
"And are you by any means trying to imply that Clara is right?" My parents are literally having a feud because of this jinx (Clara) and you think that's right?" Luna solicited chuckling as she gave a dark look to Clara who became more nervous.
"You're just having a misconception" Gemma responded
"You call this a misconception? She....."Luna fumed up as Gemma interrupted ordering her to go into her room.Luna grumbled stumping into her room as she slammed the door with full force. Harry seeing that Luna was gone matched into his room in a hush.
"Hey... don't be bothered by her words okay? You're no jinx ( Gemma smiled )Come,I'll show you to your room" Clara followed Gemma dumb stuck,Gemma opened up a room and Clara was completely taken-aback by what she saw. As if expected her arrival,a room was cleaned and furnished just for her. It was so titanic and pleasant to the eyes. The room alone could make up their entire shack,she kept asking herself why they were so poor despite having such a wealthy relative as George. All answers pointed at Harper who hated them and wanted nothing to do with them.
Meanwhile,George followed Harper into their room locking the door to avoid any interruption. He met Harper sitting on the bed in rage.
"What was that?" He quizzed with a fury temper.
"What was what?" She asked pretending not to know what he was talking about.
"Why on earth would you say that to her?" He yelled with his eyes wide opened
"Because.....I am going to bring hell to her" Harper said with dark eyes
"You will do no such thing. She is my late brother's child literally my child "George affirmed. There was a creepy silence for a moment as Harper stared momentarily at him then she stood up from the bed walking up to George.
"Are you still in love with Ava?" She asked calmly but with a ferocious look.
"What???? Are you insane? Why would you even think of something like that?" George said rhetorically
"Answer me !" Harper roared.
"Heck no ! Have you lost your sanity? She's my late brother's wife" He asserted.
"And let's not forget that you were once in love with her"Harper broadcasted. She seemed to be in rage remembering what had occurred in the past.
"That was in the past" George responded
"I really don't get why you keep bringing this up" He continued.
"Because you have no refused to let go of the past. Why on heaven sake would you bring her daughter into my house?" Harper yelled.
"That's my late brother's daughter and it is my right to take care of her,I really don't care what you say but if you cause her any harm,I shall not spare you " George walked out of the room leaving Harper who clenched her teeth in a fury.
Luna who was eavesdropping on them and had waited for George to go out of the room came out of where she had hid highly infuriated.
"We'll see about that" She said responding to what George had said with a devilish smirk.
