"Kian, go and sell all the loot we got from the trip." Luan said, grinning.
Kian bowed politely and left the room; he was also looking forward to how much they would earn; they had looted quite a bit on the way.
Leaving the inn, he saw Thomas standing outside, looking around nervously.
"Is there a problem, sir? Thomas?" he inquired, stopping next to him.
"Ah, Kian, well, yes. What should I do now? The young master didn't tell me anything, so should I return to the Meskevela territory or stay here for a while longer?"
Kian ran his fingers through his beard, considering his answer carefully.
"Just go ask the lord yourself; he might seem unreasonable and tyrannical, but when you get to know him, you'll see his true colors." With that, Kian went toward the carriage.
He looked up at the top floor and sighed. "My lord, you should try to restrain yourself," he mused, taking a seat on the carriage and grabbing the reins.
