First of all, it's a mixture of worlds. There will be characters from other works, but the focus is on the DXD universe. Some changes have been made to the world for future ideas, so be warned.
This will be a bit of a slow release. The chapters will be released mainly on patreon, and released here when there's a decent amount.

In that beautiful grove, where the pleasant sunlight gently touched the leaves of the trees, casting perfect shadows for resting, the ambient sounds of nature created an almost angelic symphony.
Lying near a lovely stream that stretched across the grove and branched out in four directions like the limbs of a tree, animals of all kinds enjoyed the soft, comfortable breeze in an incomparable harmonious vision.
But this was not unusual in this place. After all, the animals didn't need to kill one another, as they were all sustained by the divine energy of the grove.
A perfect creation, brought into existence by none other than a perfect being. The greatest artist—the one who is the beginning, the middle, and the end.
God.
It was on the seventh day that He completed the creation of this world and finally decided to take time to appreciate His magnificent work.
The Garden of Eden—that was the name He chose. A perfect place where there was no death, pain, suffering, or sadness. All creatures lived in perfect harmony, enjoying their lives peacefully without a single worry.
An impressive sight, even for the innumerable angels and seraphim who admired their Father's masterpiece.
Yet, despite its perfection, God felt that something was missing.
Someone to care for this marvelous garden—a guardian.
While His children were more than capable of taking on such a task, God didn't want to give this responsibility to them. He desired to create something new, a being that could one day become as magnificent as Him.
Someone made in His image.
An audacious idea, which received mixed reactions from His children, the most negative coming from His beloved son, Lucifer.
But God was not swayed. After all, He was God, and His word was final. Though displeased, Lucifer did not openly oppose His Father, choosing to keep his discontent to himself.
It didn't take long for God to begin His work.
"…"
In the midst of that marvelous garden, the animals froze momentarily as a gentle breeze swept through them, their eyes opening as if hypnotized, and they all moved toward the source of the stream that stretched across the grove.
The divine energy that flowed through the garden became visible, concentrating in a single point as it moved like a whirlwind, passing through the animals that gathered in unison in a single direction.
When all the creatures assembled around the stream's source, the divine energy surged like a powerful current, diving into the center of the lake. The water became chaotic, though the animals observed everything with calm fascination.
In the skies above, countless angelic beings, from the lowest ranks to the highest, watched in silence, their wings creating a strange yet pleasant symphony.
Most gazed with impassive or awestruck expressions, but Lucifer, hovering slightly above the rest beside his brother Michael, looked on with disapproval.
Michael noticed but chose to keep his thoughts to himself, returning his gaze to the stream.
After a few seconds of chaos, the waters suddenly calmed, as if moments earlier they had not been on the verge of erupting in all directions.
"There it is," declared Metatron with a smile, arms crossed.
A few moments later, bubbles appeared on the water's surface as a figure slowly emerged, moving toward the riverbank.
Its skin was red, its texture resembling clay, and as its body left the water, it became clear that every inch of its skin bore this unusual hue.
The angels watched with confusion, but their expressions turned to awe as the clay began to slide off the figure's body. Blonde hair fell over eyes that emitted a hypnotic blue glow.
The clay shedding revealed a perfectly muscular body, devoid of clothing, unabashedly exposed to the world.
The man—yes, the man—blinked, the word resonating within him as though it were inherently true.
With a yawn and an odd sense of numbness, the man blinked again, his gaze landing on the multitude of animals staring at him with fascination.
He looked at them with mild confusion, but the feeling quickly dissipated. The man moved closer to the animals, gently petting them as they made way for his passage.
"My son."
The man froze as a divine voice echoed from the heavens. Looking up, he saw an infinite host of angels watching him, while a powerful golden light pulsated from the clouds.
"Adam, the first man, made in the image of God."
Adam absorbed those words with a serene expression, his hypnotic blue eyes fixed on the divine light as his hand stroked the neck of a lion seated beside him.
"This place is yours to rule. Protect it, prosper, and you shall reap the fruits of your labor.
Become the king of humanity, guard your own, and remain on the divine path, my son."
Adam gazed silently at the heavens, a small, satisfied smile forming on his lips as he nodded.
"…"
In the skies, Lucifer watched with irritation. Those words, that responsibility placed upon a being born of clay… He loved his Father more than anything, but this, he could not accept.
"Made in God's image"? He would never accept it! His Father was perfect, but with just one look, Lucifer could tell—
This creature was flawed!
"…" Michael observed his brother's irritation in silence, his eyes narrowing as he silently prayed that Lucifer would do nothing against Adam.
"Oh…" Behind the two, Samael watched Lucifer's back with narrowed eyes, a mischievous smile spreading across his lips.
Adam, surrounded by animals, smiled gently as he continued to pet the myriad of creatures. His eyes filled with wonder as he began exploring the entire grove.
Even with little to no life experience, he felt that…
He would like this place.
___
On a stormy night, as thunder threatened to tear down the newly built wooden house, Adam sat watching the rain with a worried expression.
"Darling, they'll come back." A feminine voice called from behind as a delicate hand rested on his shoulder. Turning his head, he saw his beautiful and beloved wife, Eve. A stunning woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. "They may be rebellious, but they care for each other."
Eve's concern was clear, but she tried to reassure her husband. After all, while Cain and Abel often fought, they loved one another and would protect each other if needed.
"I know, dear," Adam nodded at her words, but his worried expression remained. "Still, I feel something strange this time…"
As a concerned father, Adam was always perceptive of his surroundings. After being expelled from the Garden of Eden due to Lucifer and his first wife, Lilith, deceiving Eve into tasting the forbidden fruit, Adam had become distrustful.
For months, he'd noticed a growing distance between Cain and Abel—particularly Cain, who had grown increasingly hostile toward his younger brother.
This had put Adam on high alert. There was no apparent reason for such behavior.
Yet, he trusted his sons. He had warned them countless times about the temptations of the Fallen Angel and doubted either would succumb to Lucifer's words.
Unfortunately, no matter how good a father he was, selfishness and envy were powerful emotions for evil to exploit.
"Adam!"
Adam turned abruptly as Eve called his name urgently, moving toward the door. Narrowing his eyes, he saw a figure approaching through the rain.
"Cain!" he called his son's name with a smile. He was about to approach but stopped when he noticed Abel's absence. "Son…"
As the figure drew closer, Adam saw Cain carrying something. Eve covered her mouth, tears welling in her eyes.
"Cain, your brother…" Adam spoke with desperation, his gaze shifting to Cain's hands as his eldest stopped before him. "What happened—what happened to your brother?"
"…" Cain, revealing he was carrying a bloodied Abel, stared at his father for several seconds before finally speaking. "He's dead, Father…
I killed him."
!
Adam felt something break within his mind. Eve's sobs were muffled in his ears as he became lost in his thoughts. Memories of joyous moments with his sons and wife were abruptly replaced by the proud, mocking smile of the fallen angel, Lucifer.
His fists clenched, tears streaming down his face as he tightened his grip so fiercely that blood began to stain the ground beneath him.
Previously, Adam had blamed himself for everything. If he had been a better husband, Lilith wouldn't have fallen into Lucifer's arms, and Eve wouldn't have been deceived by the two.
But now, he saw clearly. Everything was happening because of him—the one who had once been a renowned angel, the bearer of light, Lucifer.
All the misery of his family, their expulsion from the Garden of Eden, and now the death of his youngest son.
It was all Lucifer's fault.
And Adam would no longer blame himself.
He would make Lucifer pay for every suffering, every tear shed by his wife, and for his murdered son…
Adam would make him pay for it!

Beep! Beep! Beep!
The alarm suddenly blared, waking a blond man who sat up in bed with a yawn before silencing it. Still groggy, he made his way to the bathroom.
"What a strange dream…" he muttered, and opening the cabinet to grab his toothbrush, he reflected. "I dreamed of the story of Adam and Eve… But it's been so long since I heard that story."
He pondered the bizarre dream, perplexed by how vividly detailed it had been. "Well, maybe I heard it somewhere recently."
Closing the cabinet after putting toothpaste on his brush, he lifted his head to look at his reflection.
"Huh?" But as he stared into the mirror, he froze. Two bright, sky-blue orbs stared back at him as if piercing his very soul. His mind went blank as his thoughts raced uncontrollably. "What…"
"What the hell is this?!"
The face in the mirror was entirely different.
