Sarah, Jenny, and Lucien were busy in the kitchen, engaged in their respective tasks, when Jenny suddenly brought out her phone. Her eyes widened in shock as she screamed, "Oh my god!"
Lucien and Sarah immediately stopped what they were doing, their attention drawn to Jenny's phone. "What's wrong?" Lucien asked, concern etched on her face.
Jenny hesitated, her eyes fixed on Lucien's face. "Lucien, I promise you, you don't want to see this," she said, her voice trembling.
Sarah's curiosity was piqued. "What is it?" she asked, trying to peer at Jenny's phone.
Jenny took a deep breath before speaking. "Ace, the billionaire, was spotted at a hotel carrying a beautiful lady bridal style into the hotel."
Lucien's eyes widened in shock. "Who's the lady?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Jenny's expression was sympathetic. "It's Fiona, Lucien. The article says Ace was carrying Fiona into the hotel, and the photos...they're pretty incriminating."
Jenny's face fell, her eyes widening in shock and upset. "Oh no, Lucien! How could he do this to you?" she exclaimed, her voice trembling with anger and concern.
Sarah's expression was equally distressed, her eyes brimming with tears. "This is terrible, Lucien! You're...you're pregnant, and he's off carrying on with another woman?" she said, her voice cracking with emotion.
Lucien's face was pale, her eyes filled with a mixture of shock, hurt, and betrayal. She placed a hand on her belly, as if protecting the unborn child from the pain and heartache that Ace's actions had caused.
"How could he do this to me?" Lucien whispered, her voice barely audible. "I thought he loved me, I thought we were happy..."
Jenny and Sarah rushed to Lucien's side, wrapping their arms around her in a tight hug. "We're here for you, Lucien," Jenny said, her voice firm and reassuring. "We'll get through this together, and we'll make sure that Ace pays for what he's done to you."
Sarah's eyes blazed with anger. "We need to make sure that Ace doesn't get away with this," she said, her voice firm. "We'll make sure that everyone in his circle knows what he's done. We'll tell his business associates, his friends, and his family. He'll be shunned by everyone he knows."
Jenny nodded in agreement. "We'll make sure that he regrets what he's done to you, Lucien. He'll pay for hurting you and your unborn child."
Lucien's eyes welled up with tears as she listened to her friends' determined words. She felt a surge of gratitude towards them, knowing that they would stand by her no matter what.
But as she looked down at her belly, Lucien's thoughts turned to the unborn child growing inside her. She knew that she had to think about the baby's future, and what was best for them.
"I don't know if I want to confront Ace just yet," Lucien said, her voice hesitant. "I need to think about what's best for my baby, and how this will affect them."
Jenny and Sarah exchanged a concerned glance, but they nodded in understanding. "We'll support you no matter what, Lucien," Jenny said. "We'll do whatever it takes to protect you and your baby."
Ace's eyes widened in shock as he scrolled through the news headlines on his phone. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. The news of him carrying Fiona into the hotel had already spread like wildfire, and he knew that Lucien must have seen it by now.
"Ace, what's wrong?" Ken asked, noticing the look of shock on Ace's face.
Ace's face darkened with concern. "It's all over the news, Ken. The story about me and Fiona at the hotel. Lucien must have seen it by now."
Ken's expression turned serious. "We need to act fast, Ace. We can't let Lucien think that you're cheating on her."
Ace's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with thoughts of Lucien and the pain he must have caused her. "We need to go back to Lucien, Ken. We have the evidence we need to clear my name, and I need to make things right with her. She's hurt, I know it."
Ken nodded in agreement. "Let's go, Ace. We'll fix this, together."
