Chapter 54 - Green Tea Bitches 101

Kara lounged on the couch in her high-security mansion, legs draped over the armrest, a half-eaten bag of chips resting on her stomach. The oversized flat-screen flickered through channels, but she wasn't really watching. The room was warm, comfortable, filled with the scent of fresh pizza and something undeniably expensive that Wanda had poured into a glass.

The rest of the harem was gathered, some at the dining table, others spread around the living space in their usual effortless way. Gwen sat cross-legged on the floor, idly scrolling through her phone, occasionally glancing up like she was waiting for the right moment to strike. Rogue leaned back in an armchair, arms resting on the sides, watching Kara with a casual air that didn't match the sharpness in her eyes. Mystique stood near the window, unreadable as always, while Jean reclined against the couch's armrest, flipping through a book she had barely glanced at for the past ten minutes.

Natasha sat at the counter, sharpening a knife with slow, deliberate motions. Wanda, seated near Kara, swirled the dark red liquid in her glass, her fingers glowing faintly with subtle magic.

The moment felt normal. But Kara knew better.

She knew when she was being set up.

She turned her head toward Gwen and Rogue, who were far too relaxed.

Gwen set down her drink, tilting her head slightly as if she had just come up with an idea. "Kara, we've been thinking…"

Kara popped another chip into her mouth, chewing slowly. "That's never a good sign."

Rogue leaned forward, her tone carrying a quiet edge. "You've got all the power in the world. But what if I told you there's a way to win before you even throw a punch?"

Kara swallowed, raising an eyebrow. "You mean like… talking my enemies into defeat?"

Gwen rested her elbow on the table, fingers tracing the rim of her glass. "Not just talking. Manipulating. Playing the game before they even realize they're on the board."

Kara's interest piqued, but she kept her expression neutral. "Go on."

Gwen's voice became almost playful. "Kara, we're talking about Green Tea Villainy."

Kara sat up instantly.

"Wait. You mean like Green Tea Bitches?"

She suddenly burst into laughter, shaking her head. "Oh my God. You're talking about those villains from Chinese web novels."

She gestured dramatically, her face full of exaggerated shock.

"The ones who act all pure and innocent while secretly destroying people's lives behind the scenes?"

"The perfect-faced evil women who steal the fiancé, frame the heroine, and then act like the victim?"

Gwen studied her, watching the realization settle. "So, you do know."

Kara pointed a chip at them, accusingly. "You're telling me you two have been Green Tea Bitches this whole time?"

Rogue shrugged, her expression calm. "It's a useful skill."

Gwen leaned forward slightly. "And we're about to teach you."

Kara tilted her head, intrigued but skeptical. "Alright. Show me."

They exchanged a look.

Gwen sighed, placing a hand on her heart, her expression soft, her eyes filled with sadness.

"Oh, Kara… I never wanted to tell you this, but—" she looked down, biting her lip as if in turmoil. "—I was worried you wouldn't believe me."

Rogue, catching on instantly, placed a gentle, reassuring hand on Gwen's shoulder. "It's okay. She needs to know the truth."

Gwen inhaled sharply, her fingers trembling slightly as if struggling to find the words. "Kara, I've always supported you, but… I heard Jean and Wanda talking the other night."

She hesitated, as if it was painful to say.

"They… they said they don't think you'll ever be good enough to master Green Tea Villainy."

Rogue sighed, shaking her head, her eyes full of regret. "I told them they were wrong. I told them you're the smartest and strongest woman I know."

Gwen closed her eyes, as if fighting back emotion. "But they just laughed. They said Kara would never be able to deceive anyone because she's too honest."

Silence.

Kara's expression shifted.

Her fingers gripped the edge of the couch, her eyes narrowing just slightly.

"They really said that?" she muttered.

Gwen and Rogue exchanged a look.

Rogue nodded, her voice low. "They did."

Kara's eyes darkened. "Oh. Oh, I see."

Gwen held the act for two more seconds before dropping it completely.

She leaned back, her voice casual, amused. "And that…" she said smoothly, "was a Green Tea move."

Kara blinked, her mind catching up to what just happened.

"Wait, what?"

Rogue leaned back in her chair, arms crossed, satisfied. "We made that up."

Gwen flicked her hair over her shoulder, her tone full of confidence. "Hook. Line. And sinker."

Kara buried her face in her hands, letting out a long, muffled groan.

"Oh my God." She lifted her head, eyes wide. "That was amazing."

She suddenly lit up, looking between them excitedly.

"I could be a Green Tea Villainess. I could be one of those anime evil noblewomen!"

"I could break off an engagement in public, look innocent while destroying my enemies, and then slap them across the face when they finally realize I was a villain all along!"

Jean, Wanda, and Natasha looked at each other, all silently processing what they had just witnessed.

Jean rubbed her forehead. "You've created a monster."

Wanda set her drink down, her eyes holding something between amusement and resignation. "This is what happens when you encourage her."

Natasha exhaled through her nose, tilting her head slightly. "No, this could be useful."

Gwen grinned with her eyes and leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knees. "Alright, Kara. Now that you understand the basics, it's time to practice."

Rogue nodded. "We're gonna take you out into the real world."

Kara stretched, rolling her shoulders. "Where do we start?"

Gwen's voice was smooth, almost purring. "The Brotherhood of Mutants."

Rogue tilted her head slightly. "We're gonna lure in some of Magneto's minions. And you're gonna Green Tea the hell out of them."

The harem collectively agreed, already setting up the next phase.

Kara clapped her hands together, grinning in anticipation. "Oh, this is gonna be fun."
