"Keep going. I'll meet you guys there," he muttered as he leaped off Cyrus.
"Shadowbine… third form: Mage Slayer," he whispered as he spun downward.
He took a deep breath and blitzed forward—stepping off the air like it was solid. He launched himself toward the black knight, so fast it was like he was cutting the air.
And with one smooth motion, he sliced off one of the dragon's wings. The blade cut clean through with a sharp crack—but the rider didn't flinch. He stayed calm. Confident.
The beast spun out of control, crashing toward the ground headfirst, unable to stay balanced.
The armored figure smiled, leaped off its back, and shot toward him. Both hands gripped his massive sword tightly, and he swung downward in mid-air, using gravity to add even more force.
Kael raised his own blade to block, but the hit sent him flying toward the ground like a meteor. Just before impact, he wrapped his shadow around his opponent's leg.
"You're coming down with me," he grinned.
