Taking a small stop, Kiera waited for the car window to roll down. As the sleek car pulled up beside Kiera and the window lowered ever slightly, all she heard was,
"Get in."
No sooner had the deep voice utter that statement when the inside lights illuminated the face of the driver.
Her brows lifted as surprise shone in her eyes, It was Jace.
Kiera's heart skipped a beat. She hadn't seen him in so much recently and she most definitely wasn't expecting to see him now.
Before she could say much, he repeated his words and she moved closer to the car to join him.
However, the second she sat she saw him grin at her, that familiar dimpled smile she adored.
"Getting into strange cars in the middle of the night? That's new," Jace commented, still grinning at her.
Kiera chuckled and lightly shook her head, her apprehension fading slightly.
"Forever naughty," she muttered to herself.
"What? I didn't catch that, Jace teased her."Nothing much but you stalking me now, Jace?"
