Rhodes wanted to keep his terror within him, but his eyes betrayed him. The team knew Hazel had gone to find him because they asked her to do it. How was he supposed to tell them that she died at the hands of that fire demon? Would they believe him even if he tried?
Before he could answer, Kathy caught the question for him. "We didn't see Dr Alonzo with Dr Huxley. Mom and I heard he was confined here, so we meant to see him. She must have left already… granted that Dr Huxley only woke up during the fire. Did she have other patients recently? Perhaps another doctor asked for her thoughts."
"We have many critical patients because of fire…" Sergei remained steadfast. He glanced at Rhodes for a second before nodding at the lady. "I'll work on your brother's transfer… and Huxley's release. Let me see you, Huxley."
