The next day.
Naruto and his team stood on a boat, watching the coronation ceremony of the Land of Snow from a distance.
"Don't you want to see her one last time?" Kakashi asked.
"No need." Naruto paused before adding, "This is for the best."
"But it's a shame… Koyuki said that the geothermal generator is still unfinished," Sakura said regretfully.
"No," Naruto kept his gaze fixed on the distant Land of Snow. "That thing is no longer a half-finished product."
"Huh? What do you mean, Naruto?" Sakura asked, running up to him.
"Not telling you. Hahaha!"
"Naruto!!"
Kakashi chuckled. "Ah… youth is nice." He suddenly recalled Koyuki's words about continuing her career as an actress.
Wait… Didn't she say something about… Icha Icha Paradise?!

Some time later, at the Hokage Building…
"Hey, Naruto. What are you doing here?" Shikamaru asked as he ran into him.
"Ah? Came to pay my respects to the Hokage," Naruto said, yawning.
"Are you an idiot?" Sakura went ballistic. "We're here to submit the mission report! It was an A-rank mission, damn it!"
"A-rank? You guys took on an A-rank mission? Aren't you tired?" Shikamaru asked, surprised.
"I hate it! I didn't even ask for a break… I really found my ancestor in that mission—"
Before he could finish, BANG! Naruto was sent flying across the hall.
Shikamaru looked at the woman in the gambling kimono with horror. Damn… is Naruto gonna survive that?
"You little shit, you start running your mouth the moment you get back? That was too light of a punishment!" Tsunade growled.
"Long time no see, Lady Tsunade," Shikaku Nara greeted respectfully.
"Oh? The Nara brat?" Tsunade grinned. "How's Shikaku doing? The antlers in your area make great medicine."
"He's doing well," Shikaku replied with a nod.
"Good. See you later!" Tsunade walked off.
Shikamaru turned to his father. "Hey, Dad… who was that loud woman just now?"
"Huh? You don't know? That was the Fifth Hokage," Shikaku said.
"That was the Fifth Hokage?!" Shikamaru said in disbelief.
Shikaku chuckled. "Hey, Shikamaru, that woman is not just a Hokage—she's the strongest and most beautiful kunoichi in the world. She's one of the Legendary Sannin."
"Ugh… a woman is Hokage? I hate dealing with women," Shikamaru groaned.
"Hah… that's where you're wrong," Shikaku sighed. "The next generation of the Nara Clan can't end with you. Listen, women may seem troublesome, but in front of the man they love, they'll always be gentle. You'll understand when you're older."
Shikamaru internally scoffed. Yeah right… like Mom doesn't beat the crap out of you all the time.
"Now get to work, Shikamaru," Shikaku said, walking off. "Come back late, and your mother will scold you."
"Oh~" Shikamaru sighed. Like you're one to talk…

Meanwhile, at the Hokage's office…
Naruto arrived to see the gate guards and Shizune blocking the entrance.
"What's going on?" he asked.
"The grandson of the Third Hokage has locked himself inside the office. He won't let anyone in," Shizune explained, hugging Tonton.
"Oi! If you don't open this door, we'll break it down!" one of the guards shouted.
"Go ahead and try!" Konohamaru's voice came from inside. "I'm the grandson of the Third Hokage! Defying me is the same as—" His voice faltered. "It's the same as defying my grandpa!"
"It's the same as defying the Hokage!" Konohamaru shouted again.
"We already told Lady Tsunade to get to work quickly," Shizune sighed.
The two guards exchanged looks and rammed the door—only for several smoke bombs to go off in their faces.
Naruto narrowed his eyes. He hadn't interacted with Konohamaru much since returning from the Land of Snow. But now, looking at this brat acting so entitled…
This wasn't some passionate kid wanting to be Hokage. This was just a spoiled brat.
If he wasn't the Third Hokage's grandson, no one would let him get away with this shit.
"Move aside," Naruto ordered the guards.
He walked up and KICKED the door down. Konohamaru went flying, crashing onto the ground, bleeding from his nose.
"Bastard! How dare you do this to me! I'm the grandson of the Third Hokage!" Konohamaru screamed. But as he looked up at Naruto, his expression twisted into a glare. "Damn fox! You—"
SLAP!
Naruto backhanded him across the face.
"Listen up, brat," he said coldly. "This is the Hokage Building. The highest administrative place in the village. I don't give a damn what your grandpa let you get away with before, but this is not a playground for some snot-nosed kid who isn't even a real ninja yet!"
"The entire village is waiting on missions from the Hokage. And you're sitting here, crying for attention?" Naruto stepped closer, his voice dropping to a growl. "If you miss your grandpa, go visit the Memorial Stone. But don't bring your bullshit here."
"Naruto," Shizune said, looking at Konohamaru worriedly.
Naruto ignored her.
Konohamaru burst into tears.
"Remember this, kid," Naruto said. "In this world, if you want respect, you need the strength to back it up. Being the Third Hokage's grandson means nothing. You're just a weakling throwing tantrums."
"Don't let me see you in this office again," Naruto warned. "Next time, I won't be so nice."
Konohamaru nodded frantically before running away.
"Naruto… was that really necessary?" Shizune asked.
"Hmph. Don't bother worrying about brats like him," Naruto muttered. "He'll either grow up, or the world will eat him alive."
The guards gulped, realizing Naruto was already gone.
Tsunade walked up at that moment, surveying the mess. "What the hell happened?"
"Konohamaru blocked the door, but Naruto… handled it," Shizune explained.
Tonton oinked a few words, and Tsunade smirked. "Heh. Well done. Kid needed a lesson."
---
The next morning…
"Why the hell do we have to wake up so early for another mission?" Naruto groaned. "Are we broke or something? I've got cash! Let's go fishing instead."
"Shut up!" Sasuke and Sakura snapped in unison.
"Why isn't Kakashi here yet?" Sakura asked.
Tsunade walked in. "Kakashi won't be coming. Konoha's short on Jōnin, so all of them are out on missions. You three will handle this one alone."
"Ahh, good morning, Lil' Tsunade!" Naruto greeted lazily.
"Bastard, call me Lady Hokage!" Tsunade snapped. She tossed a scroll onto the table. "This is a B-rank mission. You're to protect a participant in a major race during the Land of Tea's Grand Worship Ceremony. The runner has already been attacked."
"What a mess," Naruto grumbled.
"You'll get more details from Elder Jiro once you arrive," Tsunade said. "Now, get going!"
"Ugh…" Naruto groaned as Tsunade punched him out the door.
