Tracy, we don't have time!" Luthor called out, his voice strained as he carried Ferah's lifeless body with ease. "You can't carry him too. He'll be fine, but we have to move now!"
Tracy's feet faltered for a second, her body swaying as the pull to go back to Vardy battled with her instincts to stay with Ferah. But as Luthor's words sank in, she realized he was right after all.
They didn't have the time. The very foundation beneath them was falling. The earth was breaking apart, and the very sky above seemed to be suffocating them with its dark energy.
With a heavy heart, Tracy tore her gaze away from Vardy's weakened form and turned toward their path. They had to move. They had to survive, and somehow, they had to figure out how to rebuild after everything had crumbled.
The chaos around them was deafening. The shriek of metal and stone tearing apart echoed through the halls, sending ripples of terror through the group.
Tracy pushed forward.
