The barrier ripped open, two monsters falling from the tear. They landed with a thud, causing vibration through the ground.
Klaus smiled before activating his system.

A circle of glowing sigils bloomed under Klaus's feet. The atmosphere shifted, it grew heavy and sharp, like walking into a courtroom moments before sentencing.
"Let's see how well you fare… under law," Klaus whispered, raising one hand.

The space around him rippled slightly, like reality answering in submission. "Rule one," Klaus said coldly. "No powers until I allow it."
The monsters stood unmoving, as if a mountain was pressing on them. They didn't even stand a chance, against Klaus' power.
