"We were quite lucky to get eaten by a Level Six and Three, huh?" I mused, checking my burner as it buzzed in my back pocket.
I shot up, pointing to Rain and Frank, and gesturing for them to follow me out the door.
"Ren, are you coming?" I offered, watching him jump up in excitement and clap Devon's shoulder as he went to the door.
I smirked and watched Leon look at the door with a longing look.
"Leon, hurry up, Devon's let me borrow the car," Ren shouted from the driveway, and he jumped up much faster than Ren had and ran out the door, leaving smoke and sparks in his wake.
"Jesus, he wasn't like this with me," Irene snorted, covering her mouth with her hand as she giggled.
