Chapter 265 - Chapter 265: Gary Vs Clair!

"As expected of the last gym, the first Pokémon is so strong." Gary expected Clair to send out a Pokémon of quasi-Elite level, but he didn't expect it to be the first one.

This Clair didn't disgrace her grandfather's reputation she still has something.

"This is your first gym battle, go ahead!" Gary threw the Poké Ball in his hand.

Great!

A huge monster fell into the water, and Kingdra was also frightened when it saw the Pokémon sent by Gary.

"What! Red... different-colored Gyarados!" Clair was surprised she didn't expect to see a different-colored Gyarados.

As a Dragon-type Pokémon Trainer, Clair naturally likes Gyarados very much and even bred one herself.

"Oh... What a big body, much bigger than Miss's Gyarados." Kabu was also amazed.

"Gyarados, use Ice Fang!" Gary was not polite and took the lead to launch an attack.

Gyarados rushed towards the pool. The venue was a normal ground pool. The pool was not large, so Kingdra had no chance to dodge.

"Kingdra, use Hydro Pump!" Clair ordered hurriedly.

Kingdra spat up Hydro Pump, but the power of Hydro Pump was not enough to stop Gyarados. Gyarados rushed into the pool and reached Kingdra with a tail swing. The sharp ice teeth bit Kingdra's body, and the hit part immediately formed a layer of ice.

"Kingdra, use Swift." Clair counterattacked immediately. Kingdra played Swift, but Gyarados was not afraid at all. It used Aqua Tail, assisted by its huge body, to smash Swift and also knocked Kingdra to the shore.

Kingdra on the shore couldn't move flexibly and could only move by jumping, and the speed was touchingly slow.

However, Clair did not intend to play a flexible tactic and immediately ordered: "Twister!"

Kingdra sent a Twister to attack Gyarados. The Twister quickly enveloped Gyarados and continuously caused damage to Gyarados' body, trapping Gyarados for a while.

"Gyarados, use Dragon Dance in the opposite direction, and then use Twister to counterattack." Gary ordered.

Hearing the sound, Gyarados immediately covered it, turned itself around, used Dragon Dance, and used Twister at the same time.

The two Twisters suddenly merged into one, forming a larger Twister, rushing out of the pool, and approaching Kingdra in a few blinks.

Kingdra used Hydro Pump to block it, but Hydro Pump was directly bounced off by Twister, and Kingdra was also hit by Twister and flew out backward.

Bang!!!

Kingdra hit a stone pillar on one side and fell to the ground, its eyes spinning in circles.

Seeing Kingdra fall, Gyarados also stopped Twister.

"Kingdra loses the ability to fight, Gyarados wins!" Kabu said.

Kingdra lost unfairly because of the limitation of the venue it could not play to its own advantages. If it was a completely water venue, Kingdra would at least not be defeated so quickly.

"Kingdra, come back." Clair took back Kingdra and looked at Gyarados again.

I have to say that the red Gyarados is too handsome. Any Trainer who likes Gyarados can't resist the fatal attraction of the big red ferocious.

"Gyarados, leave it to you!" Clair sent out the second Pokémon.

Great!

A blue Gyarados appeared and fell into the water. The two Gyarados confronted each other, all looking at each other fiercely, as if they would fight in the next second.

[LV54 Gyarados/Elite]

Clair's Gyarados is female, with white whiskers extending from both sides of the mouth, and is also smaller in size than Gary's Gyarados.

"Gyarados, come back." Gary took out the Poké Ball and took back the Gyarados.

Although Gyarados can continue to fight, the appearance does not want to win three games with one, and other Pokémon must also have a chance to play.

"Gengar, you go!" Gary said.

"Genggar!"

Gary's shadow suddenly raised a head, and a Gengar came out of it, jumped lightly, and jumped into the field.

"Gengar...!" Clair was surprised, mainly because Gary's shadow actually hid Gengar.

Clair breathed a sigh of relief. After all, Gary's Gyarados was too strong, and Clair really couldn't guarantee that her Gyarados could win.

"Gyarados, use Dragon Breath!" Clair launched an attack.

Gyarados opened its mouth and spat up a large piece of green Dragon Breath like a flame, leaving no room for Gengar to escape.

"Shadow Ball." Gary ordered, and Gengar quickly condensed Shadow Ball and fired it. Shadow Ball was like a baseball, unstoppable, and easily penetrated Dragon Breath.

Boom!!

The Shadow Ball hit Gyarados's jaw and exploded directly, interrupting the spray of Dragon Breath.

This Clair was really inconsiderate, letting Gyarados use special attack moves to attack. Isn't this asking for trouble?

Gengar's special attack Species Strength is 130, Gyarados's Species Strength is only 60, more than double the difference, not to mention that Gengar's Shadow Ball also has this attribute bonus, plus the improvement of the top-grade Spell Tag, Shadow Ball has a power of 160.

"Gyarados, use Aqua Tail." Clair also reacted immediately and used physical attack skills to attack.

Gyarados swung its body, cleared the water, and a layer of water was wrapped around its tail, and the tail was whipped towards Gengar.

"Front attack, Thunderbolt!" Gary ordered.

"Genggar!"

Gengar's whole body was emitting sparks, and it shot a golden lightning towards Gyarados, regardless of Gyarados' Aqua Tail.

Snap!

"Roar!!"

The two sides' skills hit each other, and Gengar was directly blown out of the field and hit the wall.

Gyarados was bathed in lightning and suffered severe damage. In an instant, Gyarados's huge body fell to the ground, its eyes turned white, and it lost consciousness.

"Gyarados lost its ability to fight, and Gengar won." Kabu announced.

"He actually knows electric skills." Clair said in surprise.

Although Gengar is strong, he is not necessarily Gyarados's rival. Gyarados knows Crunch, and as long as he can hit Gengar, he will definitely deal a heavy blow.

Clair originally planned to let Gengar take it lightly, wear him down first, and then use Crunch to decide the winner.

As a result... Gengar actually knows Thunderbolt, which Clair did not expect.

Gyarados has both Water and Flying attributes. Electric moves can cause 4 times the damage to Gyarados.

Even if Gyarados has a high special defense, it cannot withstand 4 times the damage.

"Come back." Clair is no longer as confident as she was at the beginning. She becomes serious and takes Gyarados back.

Gary is also curious about what Clair's third Pokémon will be.

According to the original plot, Clair also has a Dragonair, but it is only a Dratini now and has not evolved yet.

Clair has seen Gary's strength and will definitely not send Dratini to the field. She will send other Pokémon.
