Senju Wakama and Uchiha Yuki had an arrangement: a clandestine meeting once every seven days. If either of them had a mission that took them away, they would postpone.
Yet, ever since being "devoured" yesterday, Wakama felt a restless heat simmering through him, an impatient urge to see Yuki again.
If Tsukuyo had seen the state he was in yesterday, looking completely drained, it might have been better if she'd just ignored him. Wakama almost wished she had. Then he wouldn't be feeling this wicked fire coiling inside him today, with no outlet for release.
No missions. Training felt tedious. All Wakama wanted was to find a girl to spend time with.
Seriously... If he'd known it would come to this, he should have just found a girl within the clan to date. But no, he had to go for Uchiha Yuki. Back then, Wakama's subconscious reasoning had been simple: girls from other clans were easier to fool. And even if something went wrong, an outsider girl couldn't really do anything to him. Especially since Yuki was from an enemy clan; she couldn't possibly stir up trouble that would reach his own clan's territory.
A girl from his own clan, however, would be a different story. If Wakama did anything out of line, she could report him to his father in minutes. Wakama wasn't really afraid of his father anymore, but... Tsukuyo? Her, he feared!
No, no, no... Wakama corrected his thoughts. If his lover hadn't been Uchiha Yuki, how could he ever have experienced that feeling from yesterday, that ascent to heaven? Although Yuki had been raised as a boy since childhood, she was still the daughter of a renowned courtesan and had clearly inherited her mother's skills. If not for that, how could an inexperienced young man like Wakama have been so captivated by her? It was definitely a talent ordinary girls didn't possess.
What should I do? I want to go see Yuki! Badly.
But he was the one who had set the seven-day rule for their meetings. He couldn't break it.
Wait, I'm the one who made the rule, can't I break it if I want to? Breaking the rule for Yuki... maybe it wasn't out of the question. But Yuki wasn't stupid. She'd see how infatuated he was, and who knew what trouble that might cause down the line.
What to do?
"Wakama, why are you fidgeting around like a restless monkey?"
The voice of his sister, Tsukuyo, sounded beside him, startling Wakama from his thoughts.
Wakama looked troubled, running his hands frantically through his hair. "It's Yuki... I want..."
Before he could finish, he saw Tsukuyo's large, beautiful eyes staring intently at his groin. Wakama paled instantly, turning subtly to avoid Tsukuyo's gaze.
"Feeling conflicted because she bested you in bed yesterday? Need my help getting... longer and bigger?" Tsukuyo asked with perfect seriousness. Hearing Wakama mention Uchiha Yuki, Tsukuyo instantly recalled the sight of him yesterday, looking utterly drained. It made Tsukuyo wonder just what kind of reincarnated femme fatale Uchiha Yuki truly was. Seeing Wakama's reaction from start to finish, it was obvious: the guy was completely outmatched by Uchiha Yuki.
Wakama was silent for several seconds before mumbling, "Yes."
Maybe he was too young, or maybe Yuki was just too bewitching. Either way, if he could become "stronger," why refuse such a good offer?
"Alright. I'll reschedule my plans for the next few days. I'll focus on helping you with your... correction," Tsukuyo agreed without hesitation.
And so began Wakama's nightmare. He experienced a pain beyond what any man could normally endure. Tsukuyo's "correction" didn't just mean straightening something that had grown crooked; it could also mean that he wasn't perfect to begin with, and she would perform a kind of "reshaping" based on the situation. First breaking, then healing – the pain was agonizingly real. Of course, after the healing... the results were very satisfying...
For six whole days, Wakama was constantly undergoing Tsukuyo's "correction," leaving him absolutely no time or energy to dwell on other chaotic thoughts. It seemed his earlier restlessness had simply stemmed from having too much idle time.
The days of correction flew by in the blink of an eye. And under Tsukuyo's diligent "correction," Wakama's physical body underwent significant changes.
Six days later.
The appointed day arrived once more.
Uchiha Yuki arrived for her meeting with Senju Wakama, her heart filled with apprehension.
As usual, Wakama led Yuki stealthily to their "secret base." Along the way, Wakama would use his "Deft Wood Hand" technique to change Yuki's clothes. Once they were settled in the cave, Wakama would personally help Yuki with her hair and makeup.
However...
"Wakama... you seem to have grown quite a bit taller," Yuki remarked, her gaze strange the moment she saw him today.
Thankfully, they had known each other for a long time. If not for Wakama's unique skills—the instant clothes-changing and the way he did her hair and makeup, which no ordinary person could imitate—Yuki might have suspected this lover before her was an imposter using a transformation jutsu.
"...I'm still young. Isn't it normal to grow taller?" Wakama sighed.
Yuki silently studied the mirror in her hand, then lowered her head. During their last meeting, she had acted impulsively and done... that. Wakama's reaction at the time had been pure shock. But later, after she had calmed down, endless fear had begun to linger in Yuki's heart. In that moment, she had somehow forgotten she was an Uchiha, forgotten Wakama was a Senju, forgotten the true nature of their relationship.
Yuki wasn't one to beat around the bush. She whispered, "I'm sorry... for doing that to you."
Wakama's expression didn't change. "It's fine. It was... interesting."
Yuki choked on his words for a moment, then asked, "Have you... moved past the shadow that girl cast over you?"
Hearing this, Wakama's hand paused for a second. He smiled. "My impression of her is already blurry. My mind is full of you now..."
He truly hadn't liked Hyuga Miyu from the start. If his sister hadn't encouraged him to date more, warning him that handling the Miyu situation poorly could attract a real psycho, he never would have continued interacting with her like that. In terms of looks, Hyuga Miyu wasn't bad, true, but in other aspects... she was rather lacking. For one thing, the scent Hyuga Miyu naturally emitted wasn't to Wakama's liking. Why else would Wakama have constantly persuaded Hyuga Miyu to drink those herbal distillates? It was purely to try and change her scent.
But Uchiha Yuki was different. From the very beginning, Wakama hadn't felt any aversion towards her.
Though she suspected Wakama might be lying, a faint blush still crept onto Yuki's pretty face. Deep down, she was happy, yet she despised herself for feeling that way. She took a moment to process Wakama's sweet talk before saying sorrowfully, "Hey, Wakama... we don't have a future together, do we?"
Her words baffled Wakama. He blurted out, "Why wouldn't we have a future?"
"I'm from the Uchiha clan, and you're from the Senju clan..." Yuki's voice trembled slightly.
