"La lalala lala—" Merida's voice danced through the morning air as she rhythmically chopped meat on the wooden block. Her world was calm—until the sharp knock shattered it.
Knock-Knock-Knock
"Huh...? Who the hell's here this early?" she muttered, wiping her hands and making her way toward the door. "Shop's not even open yet…"
KNOCK-KNOCK
"Gods, calm down! Why are you trying to break the damn doo—" Her words stopped dead as she froze.
Leon stood there, drenched from head to toe in fresh blood. His face expressionless.
"Is that… you, kid?" she asked, startled, trying to make sense of the scene before her.
"Don't ask," Leon replied flatly, walking inside. Without hesitation, he began stripping—jacket, shirt, belt.
"W-Woah, what the hell are you doing?" Merida blurted out, her eyes wide.
