It has been two days. Puff had still not woken up. I had not left the house in those two days. Everywhere was silent, the men were being tame despite their mistreating. They did not retaliate ir fight back according to what Mei and Pei have been telling me.
I still did not know if that poor boy was being fed or if he had been left to die. I did not know what the women of this town were trying to achieve with their acts.
Apparently, Mei had been asked at length, the extent of my powers. I had windered why she had told on her own people to me, a stranger but I did not ask. She had definitely been acting strange, a little too nice for comfort and it made me feel weird.
They were planning an ambush, the elders of this land, against me. I had made myself very clear earlier when I told them that I would not be going anywhere until my dragon woke up. However, they wanted me off their island as soon as possible, almost as if, they were hiding something.
