Kayla POV
I got up early to do my regular routine which included going for jog to get any extra energy out at 6 AM.
After my jog I came back to fix breakfast for everyone as it's 10 AM.
Then I go to the courtyard to do handstand for an hour as I saw Freya walk out the kitchen along with Hope.
Hope: You cooked breakfast for us?
Kayla: Yeah, it's the least I could do for you letting me stay here and everything.
Freya: Well thank you.
Kayla: Don't mention it.
I kicked to my feet as I'm wearing a sports bra and leggings as I see Hope looking at my abs as I do have a six pack but the constant gaze is embarrassing as I'm blushing from it.
Freya saw this to smirk as I grabbed my shirt quick to put it on.
Kayla: Well I'm going into the quarter so I'll see you guys later.
I jumped up to the top floor as I entered my room to take a shower to then change clothes as then I walked out the compound to see everything but then I had a feeling I was being followed so I walked into an alley.
I turned around quickly but then I see people, three girls and two guys.
Girl: Where is the Tribrid?
Kayla: And what's it to you Blondie?
Girl: I won't ask again?
Girl #2: Easy Lizzie.
The second girl walks up to me.
Girl #2: We just wanna know where Hope is?
I look at her but then I know that if there after Hope and they know she's a Tribrid then they'll need something to hurt her as I scanned quickly to see that girl named Lizzie carrying a stake that looks like Red Oak, so that's what can kill her huh?
I don't see anyone else carrying any, there delusional to think they can take Hope.
Lizzie: Jo, stop being nice and find Hope!
Jo: I'm trying at least.
Kayla: Now, why are you looking for her, you answer that one question and I'll tell you?
Lizzie: We're here to kill her.
Jo: Lizzie!
Lizzie: So tell me where she is now or I'll kill you instead.
Kayla: If that was a threat then it sucked big time as you think you can take Hope now that she's a full Tribrid, your idiotic but also.
I sped to take the Red Oak stake from her faster than she could see to appear behind her.
Kayla: You think I'm gonna let you near Hope than your surely mistaken.
As I showed I had the Red Oak in my hand as she was gonna do a spell as I sped to pin her to a wall with my hand on her throat suspended.
Kayla: Now, run along home or my claws are gonna tear open your throat.
I dropped her to the ground as two vampires sped to me as I caught them to throw them out the alley.
Jo: Okay enough, will leave, let's go guys.
They finally left as I sped to the compound.
