Chapter 60 - Scissor Blade Slaughtering

"What are you doing?" Reaper barges into the bar lounge where GPS was and asked.

"Drawing."

"You're not doing anything." Reaper asserts furiously.

"How could you assume that, didn't you see what's outside?"

"You mean you gathered all my men in this dreadful bar of yours, what's that supposed to achieve? We're nowhere closer to Shockwave."

"I have something they need, they'll come for him, that's when we get them." GPS responds while still mindlessly scribbling on a piece of paper, paying no attention to Reaper's scolding.

"What do you have?"

"The hooded man that killed one of your men, Mrs Reaper. Who we found out to be Ghostdoctor."

"Ghostdoctor?"

"Mmhmm." GPS didn't elucidate, she gave a succinct responss and continued on scribbling apathetically.

"Did you get the weapon?"

"No, I don't think he has it on him."

"Then how do you know it's Ghostdoctor? He's not gonna admit that he killed one of mine."

GPS stared up at the disgruntled Reaper with not just an apathetic glance, but a disdainful one too.

"He is." GPS asserted firmly, then returned her gaze to her drawings.

"I'll go take a look at him."

"No, you will not, nothing can enter that room, nothing can exit."

Reaper glared at GPS after that order from her, "When can you tell me what to do?" She threatened GPS.

"He's here to explain." GPS points to the door with her pencil, and the door opens immediately revealing Miller standing behind.

"Leader, she's telling the truth. I can vouch that her deduction wasn't flawed, that's definitely the hooded man that helped Dawn Breakers, they'll come for him soon."

"Even if that's the case, they could just leave him here to die couldn't they?" Though it's Miller that explained to Reaper, this question was directed to GPS.

"If I had a teammate who has a forbidden weapon that functions here in the shopping district, I'm fairly certain I would want to keep him.

And after my interactions with Dawn Breakers, I've noticed that their leader, Sean Anthony is an overly confident one.

He hasn't given up Shockwave to shake you off, I doubt he'd give up Ghostdoctor to shake me off." GPS explains.

Reaper was frustrated by the fact the GPS had a valid point, and even Miller to back her up. She lets out an exasperated sigh before telling GPS,

"You get two more weeks, I don't care if that wasn't in the terms of our deal, I'll kill you."

"Ok."

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

We've arrived, hiding on the roof of the building across the street of the bar.

Uncle snatched the whiteboard from me again, writing down, "There's like 30 men in there." to silencer, clearly still doesn't trust that he alone would be enough.

To be honest, I don't feel like he's enough either, that bar is like Fort Knox with the amount of security provided by Living Cemetery.

Silencer looked at the message for a second before averting his gaze, ignoring our concerns and concentrated fully on scouting the area.

"So?" I wrote to silencer.

He opened his palm on me, gesturing me to wait, then pointed at the entrance of the bar, it was Reaper accompanied by Miller.

They were walking out and away from the bar, silencer must be waiting for Reaper to leave, she's a formidable force in close combat.

Still, doesn't make much of a difference if she leaves, there's still like 30 men in there, and silencer can't strike them down with lightning bolts because it's the shopping district.

He has one advantage, the scissors.

After Reaper and Miller were out of sight, silencer made his move. He split the two blades of the scissors with pure arm strength, handed me one and carried one with himself. He jumped down the roof doing what's called a dramatic superhero landing, then waltzed into the bar casually, wearing the anonymity cloak.

"He's so dead." My uncle commented. We can talk freely now, the only reason we couldn't previously was because silencer is a Mage class.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

Inside the bar,

"It's silencer..."

"Yeah, holy shit..."

Gossips can be heard around the bar when silencer entered, none were brave enough to approach silencer or raise their volume.

Except,

"What are you doing here?" Isaac approached and asked as politely as he can, hoping not to anger the number one best player in the game.

"There should be a player here named Ghostdoctor, give him to me and no one gets hurt."

"Ghostdoctor? Wait wait no, we can't do that, it's like, we need him." Isaac explained awkwardly, it's the most polite he has been since confronting Myth's members.

"Yo Isaac what are we afraid of over here man? That dude ain't got his thunder fingers." A drunkard in the bar said, but he actually had a point that alleviated fear from everyone in the bar.

"Shit! He's right." One of the guards spoke up to Isaac.

"But like...but..."

"Come on Isaac, don't be a pussy. If anything, we can kill him right here and get all his points, he's bound to have at least a million dude!" Another guard said.

Isaac lets out an exasperated sigh, before turning back to silencer, "Man I'm sorry, we can't hand Ghostdoctor over."

"Oh."

Silencer draws the scissor blade from his pocket at a speed the naked eye wouldn't be able to observe and stabbed it right through Isaac's neck.

"Uh..." Isaac couldn't even scream, he was already dead. Silencer pulls out the scissor blade, letting Isaac's dying body collapse onto the ground.

He wiped away a bit of Isaac's blood that had smeared on his face, then stared back forward at the rest of the crowd.

"AHHHHHH!!!" All the guards in the bar launched themselves forward with a battle cry at the same time. They understood the severity of the situation now, they could die.

But each one that confronts silencer doesn't even get a hit on before they suffer fatal slice wounds. Silencer's control over the scissor blade is impeccable, capable of landing every attack. His body movements were swift, capable of evading every attack.

It was a completely one sided fight, just like in the tournament, but without his Mage abilities. He is simply that good.

His combat skills are honed to perfection, and they're honed with real life-or-death situations. He wasn't just a regular assassin before entering the games, he was the assassin, the best hitman who never miss.

In a matter of seconds, the bar was bathe in dead bodies, Living Cemetery's bodies, literally turning Living Cemetery into a cemetery. Silencer wasn't even touched a single time during the fight, and it's all done with a scissor blade of surgical scissors.

Silencer alone with a scissor blade, killed 30 men in the span of a minute, leaving everything in the bar soaked in blood, including himself.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

"There's no way that's the average assassin." Uncle commented with his jaw dropped by the scene.

"That... definitely is not." Eleanor added.

"Good, this is good, brute force is working. Excuse me, I need to run some errands."

"Errands? The hell you talking about Sean?! It's dangerous, just stay here." My uncle advised.

But I ignored it, it's a very important task I have assigned to myself. I climbed down the roof and headed towards an alley next to the bar. An alley that can't be observed from on top of the roof.
