Liam exhaled, shaking his head slightly. "I guess that's a yes," he muttered.
Before he could process anything else, Ann's lips crashed against his.
The kiss was deep, warm, and full of excitement. Her soft lips molded perfectly against his, making his body tense for a second before he instinctively melted into it.
Damn.
She was really happy about this.
Before he could even react properly, Ann suddenly pulled away, her eyes sparkling with joy.
"I'll be right back!" she chirped, turning on her heels and rushing outside.
Liam blinked.
What the hell just happened?
He barely had time to process the whirlwind of emotions she left behind before his gaze drifted back to the pie on the table.
A slow smirk stretched across his lips.
Whatever.
If she was gonna move in, she might as well start packing now rather than at night.
Sitting down, he picked up another piece of pie, took a bite, and closed his eyes in satisfaction.
Every bite was just as good as the first.
