The tension in the air softened for a moment as Adam glanced back at Clara, that faint blue glow still flickering in his nocturnal eyes.
"Y'know."
He started, his voice light but honest.
"Talking to you is actually kind of fun."
Clara blinked, tilting her head slightly as she regarded him.
"Fun?...
Clara repeated her words, taken aback by Adam's comment.
Adam, however, just grinned at her reaction.
As he continues speaking, saying.
"Yeah, back home in Minerva Village… I'm always surrounded by my big sisters. It's kind of a madhouse but in a weirdly wholesome way. They're all drop-dead gorgeous, super strong, and each of them is obsessed with me in their own... uniquely terrifying way."
He laughed a little, rubbing the back of his neck.
As he continues to describe his family to Clara.
