"Alexis." Keelion let go of Lorcan and walked around. He heard her voice, he could swear it. He could feel her. She was in this place. "ALEXIS!!"
There was no response even after seconds and by now, Keelion was beginning to panic. He hurried back to Lorcan.
"Lorcan, where is she? W-where is my mate?"
Lorcan shook his head at him. "Keelion, Alexis is not here—"
"No, you're lying. I can smell her fucking scent. I can feel her in this place. Where the fuck is she? Where are you hiding her?" He snatched the man by the collar of his shirt. "Where is my mate? Give her back to me. I need her… Please. Just give her back to me, I'm begging you."
Lorcan stared at him with a sort of glint he'd never held in his eyes that were rather frightening compared to those blue of his. He averted his gaze and breathed out.
