After a few minutes of rest, Elena and the others left the space and returned to the bank, ready to proceed as planned to visit the museum next.
Just as they were about to go downstairs, they heard footsteps coming from below, catching them by surprise.

As the footsteps grew louder, they quickly ducked into a secluded spot, alert and ready to strike if the situation escalated.
Elena spotted a group of people in black dresses—probably thieves—hurrying up the stairs. She believed they were anxious upon seeing that the doors on each floor had already been opened.
They watched them as their figures disappeared from their sight.
Since they had already taken the item, lingering too long for a fight would be a waste of time. So, they decided to leave the bank covertly.
