The heart of fallen testament;
A black cylindrical rock that seems to have sixteen pillars below it and around its edges supporting it as it dominate the others of its kind in height after it took the center stage on the mountain setting it apart.
Also, around this black rock is a naturally formed stone steps which is a rocky edge that protrudes from beside it, and in a spiral form around it from its bottom where its connects to the mountain below, and to its end at the top which is the highest point of this region.
(Sizzle...,Crash)
A figure in a sorry state, with a body wrapped by golden electrical sparks, and a charred skin, fall from above and crashed on a pitch black rocky ground devoid of any form of illumination but the occasional golden flashes of light that illustrate its existence and contents after every loud booming sound coming from above it.
The figure for some time like it is lifeless remain on this rocky ground situated on one side beside a pitch black wall that rose to the heaven with no end in sight, the other side a sharp cliff, for some minutes until his naked back facing above twitches and the charred dirt on it peeled off to reveal the enviable skin of this figure.
"That is another failure i guess." Skylar, this figure on this black ground which is the stone steps of this black rock- the heart of fallen testament muttered as he stands to his feet.
Since he arrived here in this region, he has been trying for a long time to scale this black rock where his destination lies, but has met with failure every single time due to a barrier at the top half of this natural stair keeping everything away and will throw down the brave- anyone who dare to challenge it down below after a little battering like it did to Skylar, who is now standing below it in frustration.
Then again after he prepped himself and charge his body with natural energy which made his body glow spiritually with a green light, he ran up the stone steps, round the black mountain at top speed until he came face to face with the natural barrier standing on his way to the very top.
(Sizzling..., cracking...)
"Rock warrior go" Standing in front of the barrier, he commanded and ten giant rock statue of human male physique with an especially pronounced bulky muscles manifest from the pitch black ground around him and like a trained unit, the ten living rock statue match into the natural barrier fearlessly.
(Sizzle... Sizzle... Cracking....) They were swallowed by the natural barrier, which is a large electrical dark storm swirling violently with trillions of small stringy golden lightning of incredible voltage saturating it, and which barricade the stone steps at its top half and keep out dutifully anything that tries to go to the top of the great rock.
"Its still like before. But this very last method should work or else i will just level the whole thing..." Skylar muttered with a hand to his chin and after that move closer to the raging barrier and at a safe distance sat in front of it in a lotus position.
He closed his eyes took a deep breath and remain motionless for sometime while being watched closely by the eye of the cranky storm barrier facing him.
Suddenly he opened his eyes the same time a large bolt of lightning- like a whip, descend from the great mother storm seething above the top of the black rock, and with a series of simple movement, he dodged the deadly lightning bolt lusting for his neck.
"That was crazy." Skylar on the ground lying on it and panting muttered, and then smiled brightly. "So the storm is kind of alive. It must have felt threatened by my action." Suddenly he felt a great danger licking its lip behind him. A great danger he rolled closer to when he dodged the bolt.
"Interesting." He muttered and was then swallowed by the ruthless warden of the mountain- the storm barrier.
(Sizzle.... Sizzle...)
A while after he was swallowed;
(Sizzle.... "Tsiii..." Sizzle... Crackle....)
(Very loud wild laughter.)
A crazed laughter like that of a liberated madman dominated the wicked giggles of the storm barrier as it radiates in all direction from within it.
"I expected this... So, this is what natural means." Skylar amidst the storm barrier, the source of the laughter and cloaked in golden lightning biting fruitlessly at his skin muttered as he leisurely climb the stone steps through his previous adversary like he own the place.
"Its the turn of mama storm." Skylar now closer to the peak of the black rock as he run leisurely and still within the defeated storm barrier muttered after he look above in the direction of the center of the colossal storm cloud suppressing the whole region which he can't really see due to the dark cloud of the defeated storm barrier surrounding him in all direction.
"So its starting." Not long after he muttered, he felt two fatal attack rush at him from the same direction but different angles. The attacks two powerful golden bolt of lightning illuminating his dark surrounding and like they missed, they landed in front of him and sizzled and crackled fiercely as they demand his halt.
(Sizzle... Crackle...)
"This guy understands the concept of diplomacy" Skylar smiled as he neared the bolts. "But who are you trying to scare." (Loud laughter) He laughed out loud then as he picked up speed projected his loud voice across the whole region, a sign of his true nature "Its just beginning bitch."
His voice echoed on as he ran while dodging bolts of golden lightning like spears descending from above and coming for him at different angles angrily and with the intent to destroy him.
(Loud laughter)
Running and leaping on the stone steps and within the defeated dark storm barrier, his figure coated with a golden electrical glow, agile and nimble, dance elegantly as it evades a rain of golden spears shooting down from the mouth of the mother storm which hangs directly over the top of the black rock a place where he seeks to reach.
"I am getting getting closer to the top." Just after he mouthed, he sensed a far greater threat unlike what he has seen before loom above him.
"That's not real right." In response to this overwhelming mass of electrical energy compressed to the limit, and into a couple golden balls slowly descending towards him, he panicked, his taut muscles stretched to their limits, the overflowing natural energy swirling around him condense in response and he brace himself for impact.
(Boom Boom Boom...)
Distructuon descends around him. The golden balls didn't have to hit him, the explosion they caused was the attack, and it succeeded as his battered figure about to fall to the depth hangs with one hand on the cliff side of the stone steps.
"Even a defeated bitch dare rear its head." Struggling to hold on to the edge of the stone steps, Skylar muttered at the sight of the storm barrier which has calmed down before charge itself up in preparation to strike the final blow that will plunge the detestable figure to the depth like it should have done before it was defeated.
"No its like this because it has snatched the energy of the bolts i dodged that time." Skylar muttered, smiled, then in a swing, flip backwards midair and landed on the stairs while maintaining his smile that seems to be taunting his adversary in the shadows.
Then while he smile and giggle, his figure like that of a thief suddenly and unannounced turned into a blur that streak up the mountain, not through the natural stone steps but vertically up the mountain by leaping on edges that magically protrudes from the side of the mountain like they express their will to help him reach the top.
(Deafening crackle... Deafening sound like several gun shots)
About three seconds later, the mother storm that was caught unaware upon realizing she has been fooled and couldn't react immediately because she was charging her child the storm barrier who guarded the stone steps, rage furiously as its clouds turned darker and her golden wrath duelling in it wax stronger than ever.
"Now she is furious for real." Skylar muttered as he stepped on a edge that protruded from the side of the rock and that lifted him higher into the air.
"He.. He... He.." Laughing triumphantly and while the fuming mother storm rage on, Skylar got closer to his destination, the top of the black rock, the highest point in the region. But unexpectedly, just before he reaches the edge of his destination, mother storm brought out what seems to be her biggest gun.
"The hell." Skylar yelled with a stupified expression on his face as he looked up at mother storm's mouth, her center he is actually seeing for the first time since he is closer to the top of the rock it hangs over and watches over closely. And there at her mouth, two mighty looking spears with dark golden glow, many times larger than the previous ones and which seem to contain an infinite amount of energy compressed into it, march out reverently and points at him carrying with them a spiritual pressure that is a little above karo's spiritual pressure when they spar.
"..." With a solemn expression and as the two world destroying spear at angle sixty degrees to one another accelerates insanely towards his head from above, Skylar took his last leap that will put him on top of his destination. But just a split second later while midair the annihilating spear reached a hair breadth of him.
"Gotcha." All happening in a split second and while midair, he chuckled, smiled brightly, stretch his hands- each below but not touching the tip of the two spears which is at an angle sixty degree to his neck they came for, and like the two spears were redirected by his hand, they made a u-turn while leaving a golden trail behind.
(Boom... Boom...)
Just after that split second, mother storm swallowed the two spears sent back at her and in turn lead to her twisting violently while a loud rumble go on in her belly.
And at the same time Skylar smiled as his figure wrapped in a dark-red lightning cloak descends slowly to the top of the black rock which is the highest point in the region.
"Lightning is my wrath not yours." He muttered as he landed elegantly like a squirrel under the greatly injured stormy sky, and the dark-red lightning cloak on his body blaze fiercer in agreement to his word which might be an eternal absolute.
...
A couple minutes later;
"Where is the bird?"
What lay on top of the black rock and as Skylar saw it are nine separate flat and smooth surfaces. The one he is standing on right now being one of the eight that surrounds the last one in the center.
He checked around the island size surface he landed, about the same size as the other eight while the one at the center happens to be a bit smaller and rounder according to his judgment.
On one of this other eight smooth surface, a bird that look like an eagle and that also seem injured perched on it and stare with a peculiar look at Skylar who has for some reason decided to ignore its existence.
"I get it now, this rock is a statue of eight headless people hurdled together around one guy. Hmm..." Skylar stood at the edge of the surface he landed, next to the one in the middle, and looked down below it. "This stature in the center is definitely that of a female." He put a hand to his chin. "And the other eight should be something like eight knights protecting a princess."
Then after a few more look, he walked away from the edge backwards.
"This distance is enough." He muttered and then his figure like a blur run towards the edge where he was before. And when he reached it, his body like it was catapulted leapt into the air and across the chasm between the surface he landed and the feminine surface at the center.
Then at the same time, when his figure jumping to the other side peaked in the air, the stormy sky accepting its defeat withdrew, and the multicolored sky returned with its light that highlighted the nine round surfaces and Skylar's figure as he descends on the feminine surface at the center of the black rock which happens to be the top of a lady's neck according to Skylar's conjecture.
