Both Mu Shen and Shi Feng found themselves outside the chasm, which left the gorge as the only place left to scour. However when Shi Feng looked at the back of his hands, his face paled.
"We have just the end of today to find the last three eggs."
Mu Shen was startled.
"Meaning, we spent so much time in the chasm? I did not see this one coming."
Mu Shen sighed, he stared at Shi Feng who's expression showed hesitation. And he asked: "Let's finish this."
Shi Feng was surprised.
"I promised to leave once we survive the chasm. You can go on without me."
Mu Shen smiled.
"Let's finish what we've started. And in the next phase of this damnable trial, we can become individuals. For now —"
Mu Shen froze as a certain someone walked majestically out of the chasm, his expression so calm as if the horror of the chasm did not break him at all.
Mu Shen's expression darkened.
