Chapter 95 - Chapter 95 : Garfield Spider-Man Meets Gwen

In a dark room.

Sensing the questioning gazes of the others, the corrupted version of Wanda Maximoff remained calm. "We can use the power within America Chavez to restore reality to normal."

Restoring the chaotic multiverse—this was the only viable option at the moment.

"That could work," Stephen Strange acknowledged, coming to his senses. "But what kind of spell should we use?"

"Reality can be restored using the same magic that caused this distortion in the first place," Finn interjected, his expression unwavering.

Wanda's idea was sound. Her reality-warping abilities, combined with America's multiversal travel powers, could theoretically reverse the damage.

"It makes sense," Wanda agreed with a nod.

The group's gaze then shifted toward Stephen.

Among those present, only he was fully versed in the spell that had contributed to this catastrophe.

"What do you think?" Finn asked, his eyes steady on Stephen. The decision was now in his hands.

Stephen hesitated. He knew the Amnesia Spell—one of the key causes of the initial disruption—but using it again in reverse would be risky. Yet, there was no alternative.

"Let's go back to the Sanctum Sanctorum," he finally said. "We need to handle this properly."

The others nodded in agreement. This was not a discussion to have here.

New York Sanctum Sanctorum

Through a glowing portal, the group stepped into the Sanctum's grand hall.

"Did something happen while I was asleep?" a familiar voice called from behind them.

They turned to see Gwen Stacy—Spider-Woman in her universe—stretching as she shook off the remnants of her slumber.

Finn chuckled. "You sure know how to sleep through an apocalypse."

Gwen frowned. "Wait, what's going on?"

"The multiverse is in chaos," Finn explained briefly. "We've found a way to fix it."

Gwen's eyes widened, excitement flickering across her face. "For real? Does that mean I can go home?"

If reality was restored, she could finally return to her own universe.

"That's the plan. And someone is probably looking forward to seeing you," Finn added with a smirk.

Gwen's brow furrowed. "Who?"

"You might not know him yet," Finn replied cryptically. Then, turning to Stephen, he asked, "Is Peter still here?"

Stephen blinked before realizing who Finn meant. "You mean Parker? Yeah, he's in the lower hall."

"Garfield," Finn corrected with a knowing grin.

Gwen was puzzled. Another Peter Parker? Someone who knew her?

It didn't matter. She would find out soon enough.

"Let's go meet him," Finn said, leading the way.

Underground Hall

The dimly lit chamber cast long shadows across the walls. A chandelier swayed slightly, casting a faint glow over the room.

"Hey, man. Where'd you get that web-shooter?" the youngest Spider-Man—Tom Holland's Peter—asked, eyeing the device in Garfield's hand.

"It's not a watch. It's my web-shooter," Andrew Garfield's Peter explained. "Wait, you don't have one?"

The two Spider-Men were deep in conversation, comparing their respective gadgets, when they noticed the others returning.

"Finn! You're back! We missed you!" they said in unison, grinning as they approached.

But then, Garfield's eyes landed on Gwen.

His entire body froze.

His heart pounded in his chest.

It was her.

And yet, it wasn't.

Finn stepped forward, patting Garfield on the shoulder. "Didn't you want to see her? Well, she's here."

He then gently pulled Gwen forward, giving them space.

Garfield's throat was dry. "How... how are you?"

His voice was barely above a whisper. His eyes burned as emotions flooded back—memories of his Gwen, the one he couldn't save.

Gwen, the one standing before him now, studied him for a moment before extending a hand. "You're Peter Parker too, right? I'm Gwen Stacy—Spider-Woman."

She had sensed his emotions, understood what this moment meant to him. But she chose to treat him like any other new friend.

Garfield swallowed hard, forcing himself to smile. "Yeah. The multiverse is crazy. Never thought I'd see a Gwen Stacy as Spider-Woman."

Pain stabbed at his heart. If his universe's Gwen had been Spider-Woman, maybe she would still be alive.

"Hey! I'm Spider-Man too!" Holland's Peter interrupted, arms spread wide in mock exasperation. "Why is nobody introducing me?"

The group collectively ignored him.

Finn chuckled, then turned his attention to the cage in the room's corner. "I've found a way to restore reality. You'll all be able to return soon."

The reality-broken captives stirred at the news.

"Finally!" Eddie Brock groaned. His face was pale. "Finn, I'm starving. Can we eat before going back?"

Venom rumbled inside him in agreement.

Finn sighed. "Damn. I completely forgot. You guys haven't eaten since I last brought food, huh?"

Brock shot him a look. "What do you think?"

"Alright, alright. Stephen, can we get some food in here?"

Stephen sighed, but he knew the alternative—hungry, angry, symbiote-fueled chaos was not something he wanted to deal with.

As Stephen conjured up food, a loud bang echoed from the last cage.

"Oi! I want food too!" a voice yelled. "Doctor Strange, you're violating prisoner rights! You put me to sleep for how long? I demand compensation!"

The dim light revealed a red-and-black clad figure standing up, mask slightly askew.

"Oh, for the love of—" Finn groaned. "You've got to be kidding me."

Deadpool.

The Merc with a Mouth stretched dramatically, cracking his neck. "Holy hell, I feel like I've been in a coma. Oh wait, I was! Thanks a lot, Doc. Real humane treatment."

Finn rubbed his temples. "I thought this was supposed to be an unknown powerful visitor. It's just you."

Deadpool gasped. "'Just me'? Ouch, dude. That hurts. I'm an A-lister!"

Garfield's Peter muttered under his breath, "Oh great. Now we have him in the mix."

"Wait, wait, wait," Deadpool cut in, pointing at Gwen. "Is that a blonde Spider-Woman? Holy multiversal fantasies, I need a moment."

Gwen rolled her eyes. "Yeah, no."

"Fair, fair. Just putting it out there." Deadpool turned to Finn. "So, what's the game plan? Are we saving the multiverse? Or are we just standing here looking pretty? Because if it's the latter, I win."

Finn sighed. "We're fixing this mess. And then you're all going back to your universes."

Deadpool clutched his chest. "Finn, buddy, you wound me."

Stephen cut in. "Enough. Let's focus."

As everyone knew, his seemingly harmless words always carried a sting.

But this time, his remark was both infuriating and oddly amusing to those present.

As expected of a little menace.

His words were as sharp as a well-aimed shot.

With just a single sentence, he had basically cursed Finn's death.

No one would feel comfortable hearing such words.

"You'd better shut that stinky mouth of yours. You talk way too much."

Wanda looked annoyed as she interrupted him immediately.

This guy was even more talkative than little Spider-Man.

But the worst part? He spoke without restraint, without a filter.

Just hearing him made people want to go up and shut him up themselves.

"Isn't this Wanda? Finally, I get to see you in person. And wow, that figure—just like the legends say. Absolutely mesmerizing."

Deadpool waved a hand dismissively, completely unfazed by her irritation, and immediately started teasing her.

He had a deep understanding of the multiverse.

So he was well aware of the personalities and tempers of these people.

That didn't mean he'd stop talking, though.

"You're really getting on my nerves."

Wanda's expression darkened as she glared at him.

Once this guy opened his mouth, nonsense just poured out endlessly.

She had thought dealing with two Spider-Men was bad enough.

Now, another chatterbox had arrived.

Was peace too much to ask for?

"I hear cars honking in the city all the time, and it annoys me too, you know?"

Deadpool continued rambling in a carefree tone, his voice cutting through the tense atmosphere.

He was completely unbothered by the hostility aimed his way.

Finn observed Deadpool's smug expression and sighed.

He shook his head with a wry smile.

He knew this was just who Deadpool was.

Sure, he might seem funny in movies, but in person? He was unbearable.

Like a mosquito buzzing endlessly around your ear.

If it were possible, he'd have swatted him away ages ago.

"Ignore him. Just let him run his mouth until he gets tired."

Finn advised Wanda.

If no one engaged with Deadpool, he'd eventually run out of things to say.

Otherwise, the conversation would spiral, and topics would multiply endlessly.

Suddenly, Finn recalled something.

Deadpool had mentioned that another version of himself was already dead.

That thought struck a chord.

Deadpool could see things across the multiverse.

So that comment wasn't made without reason.

"America is here!"

Wong descended the staircase, his expression serious.

"It's time to proceed with the next phase of the plan. Now that everyone is gathered, our focus must be on restoring reality."

They couldn't afford any more delays.

The longer they waited, the worse reality would unravel.

"Let's move."

Finn understood the gravity of the situation. He called out and led the group forward.

The next step was to discuss how to properly execute the spell.

Then, they had to ensure everyone was returned to their rightful place.

"America, do you remember everything I explained earlier?"

Wong's voice was firm as he addressed the visibly nervous girl.

This spell could not fail.

If anything went wrong, the consequences could be disastrous.

He was particularly concerned about America herself.

Even though the Chaos Magic inside Blackened Wanda wasn't affecting her too severely…

Nothing was ever absolute.

There was always the risk of an unforeseen catastrophe.

"I'll remember!"

America nodded resolutely, determination flashing in her eyes.

If she wanted to return to her own universe safely…

If she wanted to fix reality…

She had to do this.

She had to take that step forward herself.

Meanwhile, Deadpool sat caged, glancing around in boredom.

No one was paying him any attention.

That was torture in itself.

As a chatterbox, silence felt like ants crawling all over his body.

"Aren't you all bored just sitting there?"

Deadpool shrugged, smirking. "Judging by how miserable you all look, this whole thing must be pretty uncomfortable, huh?"

Little Spider-Man, Garfield, and Gwen continued their conversation, pretending Deadpool didn't exist.

They weren't part of the magic discussion since they didn't know how to use it.

Little Spider-Man briefly glanced at Deadpool but chose not to answer.

Engaging Deadpool in conversation was a mistake.

Once he started talking, he wouldn't stop.

"In my opinion, Spider-Man is the best hero who ever lived."

Deadpool sighed dramatically, spreading his hands.

"Definitely. Though, it wasn't always the case. But now? It's changed. Unlike the guy next to you, who's always been lonely."

His gaze landed on Garfield's Spider-Man.

His mocking tone was enough to piss anyone off.

"Stephen, do me a favor and sew his mouth shut. I'm sick of talking to a fly."

Garfield's Spider-Man growled in frustration, looking toward the sorcerers.

He had had enough.

Was this guy a talking cannonball?

He never ran out of things to say.

Garfield was so annoyed he genuinely wanted to kill him.

Luckily, Stephen had ways to make Deadpool suffer.

If they didn't shut him up soon, their mood would be completely ruined.

"Is Deadpool's mouth permanently open or what?"

Finn was speechless.

He had never seen someone this insufferable before.

Even Garfield Spider-Man, known for his talkative nature, was losing his patience.

If a chatterbox found Deadpool annoying…

That said something.

"Ignore him. Once we restore reality, we won't have to hear his nonsense anymore."

Stephen was indifferent, not even sparing Deadpool a glance.

Yes, it was annoying.

But wasting energy on Deadpool wasn't worth it.

It was better to focus on the task at hand.

"Stephen, cast the memory spell."

Blackened Wanda's expression was serious.

"As long as nothing goes wrong, I can activate the spell and send them all back."

She was confident in her abilities.

She wasn't worried about failure.

"Understood."

Stephen nodded, his hands glowing with golden energy.

The magic spread through the underground hall, illuminating everything in a breathtaking glow.

He was careful not to unleash his full power all at once.

One mistake could make things worse.

"I'm about to begin."

Blackened Wanda warned everyone to step back.

They complied, distancing themselves from the center.

The magic was immensely powerful.

It was better to be safe than sorry.

She gathered her scarlet energy, and a surge of power erupted from her palms.

The force was wild, yet a stabilizing energy surrounded it.

That stabilizing force came from America.

The chaotic energy had been successfully separated from her earlier.

Two opposing forces clashed, causing the environment to distort.

The air crackled with tension.

The ground trembled, and the space itself felt unstable.

A golden-red dimensional portal flickered into existence.

It wasn't fully formed yet.

They were close… but the process wasn't easy.

Suddenly, the entire space quaked violently.

The ceiling chandelier swayed dangerously.

"Did it fail?"

Wanda's eyes widened in panic.

Restoring reality wasn't as simple as it seemed.

The entire space shuddered with instability.

"This is normal. Don't panic."

Finn's voice was steady as he reassured her.

Everything was going according
