Right from arranging food to generating fire, it seemed like a piece of cake for the Samurais. Since they had to travel further inside the forest, just to make sure they were far away from the attackers, it seemed right now there wasn't any way out.
Fortunately, Mona turned out to be a great healer, as not only she fished out the bullets from the wounded cops but also she asked the team to find certain herbs which were common in the forest land. When applied, it did subdue their pain with no fear of further bleeding.
