Pulling up in front of the house's entrance, Kingsley remained in the car for a while. His face couldn't be seen because it was dark outside and in the car as well.
After a moment of silence, Kingsley finally got out of the car and he spotted Raymond close to the door along with Mrs Jenkins.
Kingsley's face was bland as he walked towards them. His hands were tucked into his pants pockets as he approached them slowly.
"Welcome back, Boss Elm." Raymond greeted.
"Good day, Mr Elm." Mrs Jenkins said, her eyes staring deeply at him as if trying to decipher his mood.
Kingsley hummed at Mrs Jenkins before saying in a husky tone. "You came. How's your husband fairing?"
"He is much better now. Thank you for the support." Mrs Jenkins appreciated him with a calm smile on her face but sadness swirled in the depth of her eyes.
Kingsley nodded a little. "You'll be resuming work soon?"
