Upon returning to the castle, they descended into the stench-ridden dungeon cell. The air was thick with rot, and Elaika's stomach turned violently, she could no longer resist. Vomit spilled from her lips as a searing burn twisted through her bowels. Terror slithered down her spine, cold and merciless. She was going to die. She should have revealed this to her King before he would fall for this princess girl, so they would have cut her head instantly. She was wretched and looked so weak now. How spiteful!
