The sun shone, its light reflecting off the stream. We see Lizarius, having just finished eating, flying forward to catch more fish, but a Blue Scale Crocodile lying beside the stream suddenly lunged towards him, jaws wide open. Lizarius, seeing this, swung his wings, flying higher and hovering in the air, far out of the crocodile's reach.
Lizarius, looking at the crocodile, thought, A Blue Scale Crocodile. I haven't seen any since I got here, and one this big. He asked the system, "What's its rank?"
The system replied, "Rank 5 late stage, Blue Scale Crocodile."
Lizarius, still hovering and looking at it, thought, I thought it was going to be a Rank 6, with how big it is. We see the crocodile was bigger than the rest Lizarius had seen so far, about 5 meters long, its body the size of a grizzly bear.
Lizarius slowly turned invisible, thinking, I'm just going to leave. Since I already got its genes, killing it is a waste of time. I'm only going to get a few points from eating it when I can get more from catching and eating fish. Lizarius, invisible, flew away from the crocodile.
After flying for a while, Lizarius landed and continued fishing. The scene changed, and it was night. We see Lizarius, visible, having just finished eating, licking his mouth. He asked, "How many points do I have?"
The system replied, "45,260 Evolution Points, 50 Earth Tortoise Genes, 78 Blue Scale Crocodile Genes."
Lizarius, hearing this, thought, Would've gained even more points if not for avoiding those crocodiles. We see that he had encounter 8 more Blue Scale Crocodiles.
Lizarius walked towards the woods, slowly turning invisible, swung his wings, and flew onto a nearby tree. Lying on the tree, invisible, Lizarius said, "Fuse Genes." A shock ran through his body.
Lizarius asked, "How many beast genes am I fused with?"
The system replied, "The host is currently fused with 8 beast genes, except for the host's gene."
Lizarius, lying on the tree, invisible, thought, 8 plus my gene, 9. He asked the system, "Can you use the same amount of points to evolve each gene?"
The system replied, "You can use 5,000 points to evolve each gene, leaving 260 points left." The system asked, "Should I begin the evolution?"
