There he stood by the entrance the one who had come to see Alto, the first visitor he had since come to mech division #1056.
He had shot white hair, a pale face souless eyes, broad shoulders and a slender body build. He wore the uniform for the mech designers, by his sides were two bags holding food.
Alto had not expected Eleven to be his saviour, though the timing seemed rather odd he was not one to complain. Eleven walked into the room and shut the door behind him, he looked at Alto but did not say anything. He did not even address the fact of how he looked instead he opened one of the bags to take out a container of food which he handed to Alto.
Alto did not have much strength for words his full attention was on the food, but he managed to force his eyes and mind to focus on Eleven. "Eleven sir, why are you here." It felt awkward talking to him one on one.
Eleven simply looked around the room and said. "I haven't seen you in days, I thought you might be hungry." His voice was deep, masculine and bold despite his quiet nature.
Alto at first was not sure how to take those words, he did not expect anyone to notice his absence nor was it his intention initially to be absent. What perfaps touched him the most was the fact that the only person who cares to visit him was the one person who did not show interest in anyone or anything.
"I, thank you." Alto could only say that much.
Eleven handed him a bottle of nutrients and said. "Fill up your strength before doing anything, we mech designers sometimes tend to stay up late because of our work."
Alto did not reject the offer, it was the first time having someone care for his well being in such a long time. It filled him with a warmth he had once lost. As he tried to recover his energy by eating the food brought to him by Eleven, Eleven inspected his room for a brief while before losing all interest and resolving to take a short nap on Alto's bed.
As Alto ate he could not come to think of what would have happened if Eleven had not been there. His thoughts strayed to every encounter her had had with the strange young man. Their eyes barely met and Eleven always seemed to revolve around in his own little world. He wondered if he was always being monitored by Eleven, if so why did he never approach him till this very moment?
Alto tried not to judge others, everyone worked differently and he was not one to dictate how they behaved.
Half an hour had passed and Alto was starting to recover his strength again, the pangs in his head was gone now. He could sense that Eleven was awake next to him so he started to thank him once more but Eleven did not respond to him.
"It's rude to talk after eating." Eleven's sudden words shut him up. Next he picked himself up and climbed up out of the bed and headed for the door. "Listen, take care of yourself." He said pointing to the second bag of food in the corner of the room. "And have a bath, you smell like shit."
Before Alto got the chance to speak Eleven shut the door and left him to himself. Alto did not know what to make of his behaviour but he was deeply grateful. After picking himself up he took a long bath, and felt great afterwards. He cleaned up his room and logged back into the game to test his newly acquired knowledge on it.
Amy walked down one of the lit hallways with her colleagues by her side, Kram, Vexar and Denise. They were currently heading to their new training room for their early morning training sessions.
Amy kept to herself, said nothing to her colleagues. Her thoughts were on another matter, ever since her encounter with who she presumed to be her childhood friend two days before she had found it hard to get him off her mind, especially when it was early in the morning.
She had found it hard to get information on his whereabouts in the past but there were rumours that the mech designers department was somewhere. She did not know where but she knew it was only a matter of time before she would find it. And now that the remnants of the scarred battle ship were still needing repairs, she felt more confident that they would bump into each other soon.
Just then Kram who had been walking ahead of the group bumped into someone causing both parties to fall to he ground.
Kram cursed under his breath. "Damn, where the hell did you come from." He looked at the person before him and tried to make out who he was.
Vexar was the first speak, "Looked at you meathead, are you also blind."
Kram glared at him.
All the while Amy's eyes were on the young man Kram has bumped into, he had a pale face that looked almost sick, his hair was unusually white and his eyes empty. He rose to his feet and started to walk past them.
Kram stopped him by stepping into his way and saying, "Hey, you bumped into me guy. I think you should apologise."
The white haired man looked at Kram briefly and then at the gang, his eyes looked at them one at a time before falling on Amy. Shortly after he pushed his way past Kram without paying him any mind. This enraged Kram very much.
"Just be grateful I can smash your face into a wall, so I'll let you off this time." He barked after the strange man.
As he walked past Amy she could not explain why but the hair on the back of her neck stood up. She looked back at the young man and thought to herself. "He's dangerous."
Vexar proceeded to make fun of Kram, "How on earth did such a lean guy make the great Kram fall?"
Kram laughed back as they made their way forward. "At least you admit I'm great."
"Shut up." Vexar said with a smile.
Denise tugged at Amy's sleeve, drawing her from her thoughts. Amy nodded and they followed the rest of the gang. Unknown to them the person they had bumped into was Eleven who was just left Alto's room not long ago.
