From a waiter at a family restaurant to a waiter at a cafe, it seems like the status has slightly increased. The salary and benefits certainly won't lag behind.
For most people, this could be an excellent opportunity. Being able to switch from a part-time job as a server to a relatively upscale cafe is undoubtedly a big step up.
But for Shirakawa Sawahei, working under Hinata Rion, the Minotaur Artist, feels like a highly uncertain prospect.
It's probably an investment made by a second-generation rich kid for fun, and it's hard to know how long she'll stick with it. Comparatively, Shirakawa Sawahei even feels he'd be more reliable working as a clerk in a manga bookstore than staying in a cafe.
At least in Neon, there are still many stay-at-home otaku, so manga bookstores shouldn't go out of business so easily.
"I'll leave it for you two to discuss. I've got things to do," Enheikou greeted them and left Hinata Rion and Shirakawa Sawahei staring at each other.
