The new book has been out for nearly a month, and many readers love it. As the author, I'm delighted, wishing I could keep my phone in my pocket every day.
The initial inspiration for this book probably came from cyberpunk. However, I always felt a sense of detachment from Western cyberpunk content. What I want to write is Immortal Path cyberpunk, similar to the difference between Cthulhu and Chinese-style Cthulhu.
Some old readers might know, I've attempted something similar way back in my earlier book, "Tomorrow's Tribulation," though my understanding of cyberpunk back then was quite superficial—just cool gear, prosthetics for everyone, and mass-produced combat power.
I can only say that at that time, cyber elements were merely fashion items in my book, serving as embellishments.
