Chapter 6 - chapter 5 : School life part 1

The carriage advanced without inconvenience, the noise of the wheels on the cobblestone resonating slightly in the air. In the distance, the academy's silhouette was already outlined an imposing building that seemed like the mixture between a castle and a mainness, with its white walls that reflected the sunlight almost blinding. The structure rose majestically, dominating the horizon. A iron fence surrounded the perimeter and two figures of strong and diaciplined -looking, dressed in light armor guarded the entrance. The first, his face marked by a scar that crossed him diagonally, but his gaze was so firm and calculating that it was impossible not to notice his presence. In Ecuanto to the other it was more normal.

As we approached, the carriage decreased speed, until it finally stopped in front of the huge iron doors that protect the academy. The coachman opened the door with silent precision, and when leaving, the fresh air received me with a mixture of anticipation and nervousness. Instantly, all students' eyes focused on me.

Some murmured with each other, as if trying to find out who it was, while others watched me with a mixture of curiosity and surprise. I could feel his eyes on me, as if every gesture of mine was evaluated, every detail of my appearance was analyzed.

I passed my hand through my hair, letting fallen strands slide smoothly. The looks intensified. Among the murmurs, listen to some comments that I could not avoid capturing, whispered among girls who did not try to hide their fascination:

"Wow, look what beautiful hair ..." said one, his voice full of admiration. "And those long legs," he said another, with a smile barely contained his lustful gaze

The sound of those words made me feel a bit imcompode, I was not used to this type of treatment, although in my past life it was a hero was not so attractive, also women in this world are less comedy. I tried to ignore it, concentrating on the fact that, I would have to pass this test for Beatiz.

I did not take the time to fibar me too much on the faces that surrounded me, since, apparently, the bustle was inevitable, instead I took out the envelope that my family had given me before leaving within the official seal that validated my identity as a student of the Academy. It was my pass to enter a world that was both fascinating and scary.

As I approached the entrance, the scar woman on her face looked at me carefully, her blue and penetrating eyes evaluating me with precision that only someone from her training could possess. Without saying a word, he made a slight gesture to the gate, and the large iron doors opened slowly.

I crossed the threshold, entering the academy, and I could feel a mixture of astonishment and respect. The stone walls, high and old, seemed to be full of history. The halls that extended before me were broad, with statues from all the Valkyriad and great heroes that this academy has formed.

A young assistant, dressed in the official academy uniform, made me a gesture to follow her. While walking after him, he could still hear the voices of the students who began to disperse, but the bustle seemed to get away with every step he took.

- Did you know that the academy is full of mantras and spells that protect the campus? He asked me, breaking the silence, while guiding my steps. He looked at me over his shoulder, as if shared a confidence. - Not everything is as ... calm as it seems.

His comment left me thinking. In a place like this, who knew what really happened between the walls of those huge stone towers?

Class 2-A-Second year

Chu Xiao looked silently out of the window, lost in his thoughts. His empty gaze stopped when he saw the gleaming carraje that stopped in front of the main doors of the academy. A tall man got out of the vehicle. His silver hair shone under the sun, his features were so perfect that they seemed to embarrass the same gods. The adjusted uniform accentuated his figure, and each of his steps gave off a natural and fascinating elegance.

"It's him ..." Murmure in a low voice

I immediately case the classroom door opened with a dry blow.

"Look who arrived," said a bright voice that always sought to irritate me with his comments loaded with poison.

–Alessia ... I said looking at the girl

Regardless of my gaze, he leaned down with me, with a crooked smile painted of arrogance. Chu Xiao, you will not go out to greet your "promised."

Chu Xiao did not respond. He just closed his eyes a second, swallowing anger and shame that drown her, and immersed himself again in his book with pretended calm.

"Hmph, arrogant garbage." Did you really believe that the Duchess's son would marry someone like you? A Tullida peasant. What a joke. Calesia laughed cruelly as he played with a lock of his blond hair. Did you know that my family is already negotiating with yours to cancel that ridiculous commitment? And guess what ... my mother already approved that he is with me once you are discarded.

Chu Xiao fingers closed strongly over the book, their knuckles got white. His body was shaking, not fear, but of helplessness. But I still did not answer.

"When I am with me," Alessia continued with a malicious smile, "I'll show her what a real woman is." Not like you, a listed useless of a fallen family. Although ... "she leaned even closer, whispering next to my ear," maybe you are only good as a servant. Or as an obedient dog.

-You…! —The veins were marked on the forehead of Chu Xiao, their nails stuck in their palms. He couldn't stand it anymore.

With a drowned shout, he rose suddenly and threw a punch towards Alessia. But the difference between the two was already abysmal.

Crack!

Alessia stopped his attack with one hand. His eyes illuminated with contempt before lifting his leg and, from a powerful direct kick to the stomach, he threw Chu Xiao against the wall in front of the entire class.

The blow resonated in the classroom. An uncomfortable silence fell for a second ... followed by cruel giggles.

"You don't get confused, Chu Xiao." Alessia's voice was now cold as ice. You are no longer the genius that was received with honors when entering this academy. Now, you are nothing more than a listed useless. A garbage without value.

Pash. A bite of Sagre Sali from my mouth

Alessia with a look of contempt turned around as if it was not worth continuing to bother her.

Chu Xiao remained on the ground, with the sore body, the burning cheeks of shame, and the eyes hidden by his bangs. He did not cry. He said nothing.

But in the depths of his heart, impotence burned like an inextinguishable fire.
