Ethan turned to Roman and gave him a sharp glare, completely sure he had been fooled.
However, Ethan felt relieved.
If he had bought the house, he could have lost over a billion. The thought made his stomach turn.
"Hey, I'm really sorry. I don't know what's going on with scammers these days," Russell said as he stepped forward. "They just break into houses and try to sell them like they own the place."
"Good thing I didn't give him any money," Ethan said, still shaken. "I could've lost everything. But this is Easthan—how does something like this even occur? I'm calling the police."
He looked at Roman in fear and quickly pulled out his phone.
Roman reached out to stop him, but Russell quickly interfered and blocked him.
"Mr. White, please don't call the police! This is all just a misunderstanding!" Roman pleaded.
