(Arata)
Moving to the front of the hall I observed the ramp that had been set up. It was a sleek, elevated stretch to showcase the dynamic walk of the models. Overhead, a constellation of spotlights and LED panels bathed the ramp in dynamic hues, shifting from cool blues to warm golds.
I loved the set-up, watching a scintillating ramp walk was always thrilling for me. I enjoyed watching models flaunting their skills and costumes.
The seats stretched to the right, left and front of the ramp; walking over to one in front, I eased myself into it.
A few female models and employees from other departments had gathered to watch the rehearsal as well. Their turn was right after the male models, and today, Karsten was going to witness the rehearsal and announce the showstopper, so it was an important moment.
Their eyes flitted towards me, some warm and friendly, others cold and indifferent.
I flashed a smile and quite a few returned it.
