"Lacie, I'm going to miss you so much," Mila hugged her sister closely. She didn't want to let go.
Everyone that was leaving the island that day gathered outside with their bags ready.
Allison had left with Jaime before the day even dawned. She was too ashamed to face anyone else after being treated like nothing.
"I'm here, baby. You can always call me," Lacie reassured, rubbing her thumb on Mila's hand.
Zyran stood by the corner, his hands dipped inside his trouser pockets. He was watching Mila closely.
"Zy, man. We are so sorry for what happened last night. I know you invited us as friends, but we ruined things," Lucas apologized, his voice low.
Rosita joined her brother. "Zy, if it wasn't for- anyways, I'm sorry, Zy, and also, Mila... sorry you had to see that side of us." She turned to Mila and apologized.
"Um... I should have stopped her from drinking," Lacie murmured, not looking at anyone's face, but everyone knew who she was referring to.
