"It's time to make a choice! Makino , think carefully. Their lives and deaths are in your hands."
Makino nibbled on her delicate lips, blinked her eyes in a way that tugged at the heartstrings, and held onto the bottom of her skirt with both hands.
[Concubine?... Everyone's life and death... Oh, I heard that Mr. Garp is back. Will he be able to save me in time...]
he was worried that the other person could be unpredictable and might harm her, so she didn't want to waste any more time. Instead, she shut her eyes, bowed her head, and replied in a shaky voice.
"My lord, I...I am willing to be your divine concubine..."
'A good person becomes a good wife. Makino is still too kind.'

James frowned, his Observation Haki firmly locked onto a rapidly moving figure.
'It's unfortunate that Garp came by so quickly; I was hoping for another drink. But when they return, let's give Makino the freedom to make drinks as much as she desires.'
He made a grab with his right hand, then clenched it upwards suddenly. The next moment, the entire bar and the surrounding land soared into the sky.
"Ah~"
Makino screamed in fear, lost her balance, squeezed her eyes shut, and fell forward, but James effortlessly grabbed her before she hit the ground.
"Thunder kid, let go of Makino!"
With a thunderous roar, Garp uprooted a tree and tossed it into the air. Still, he was cautious about Makino's safety, so he focused on targeting the land beneath the tavern.

James unleashed a fierce bolt of lightning and then activated his Float ability on Makino, helping her maintain her balance in the rapidly ascending tavern.
His God's Judgment strike effortlessly took out the trees around him, but Garp managed to block it with his Haki Coated hands. In the blink of an eye, Garp sidestepped and evaded the reach of God's Judgment.
Before Garp had time to shake off the remaining attack, he was hit twice in a row by James, who was gathering lightning behind him.
"Have you ever been Kicked by lightning?"
A quiet voice drifted near Garp's ears. His face changed, and he suddenly felt a jolt of pain in his lower back. He was knocked down hard, creating a large hole in the ground that looked like a person and sending dust flying everywhere. The force was so intense that it seemed to shake the entire windmill village.
A sudden, strong breeze kicked up, blowing the dust away in an instant.
Garp stood tall, his impressive silhouette on display. He gazed at the tavern that had vanished into the clouds and silently cursed himself, realizing he was late.
"It's really hot, Thunder Kid!"
Garp brushed off his singed hand that had made contact with God's Judgment, appearing a bit irritated.
He was done with the fight. The speed of his opponent was something he couldn't match, and the boy seemed pretty nice. He could only hope that James would be kind to Makino.
"So, you really came from the Grand Line to the East Blue Sea just to snatch up Makino, huh?"
James stayed quiet. Even though Garp was getting up there in age, his Armament Haki was still incredibly strong—way stronger than the weakened Golden Lion Shiki.
Regrettably, his later years didn't treat him well. Two years down the line, he had to take on the Blackbeard Pirates by himself to save the runaway king, Future Admiral Coby!
'To get past Garp's defenses and deal some damage, he has to tap into his awakened purple-black lightning.'
With James being quiet and simply observing him, Garp's thoughts abruptly returned to Sengoku's past instructions.
He picked his nose and casually asked, "Hey kid, you're not planning to join the Seven Warlords of the Sea, are you? You better come up with a cool name, or I'll have Sengoku and the crew put you on the wanted list. If not, everyone will just call you the Electric Shock Kid!"
After saying that, he took out a Den Den Mushi and started making a call.
James just curled his lips and stayed silent. It's no surprise the Marines hadn't put a bounty on his head. They seemed to be struggling to track him down and weren't ready to throw in the towel. They were still considering the idea of bringing him into the Seven Warlords of the Sea.
Wait? The Marine doesn't even know his name?
Yes, except for his Wives and Concubines and his people of the Divine Kingdom, all the others who knew his real name are dead.
If the bounty led to him being given a bad nickname, wouldn't that be part of his dark past?

"How boastful! Don't consider yourself the Strongest person simply due to eating the strongest Logia devil fruit.", Once Garp stopped his playful jabs, he abruptly fell asleep, and a bubble popped up at the tip of his nose, making James's lips twitch in amusement.
Just when James wanted to give him an electric shock therapy, the Den Den Mushi began to imitate Sengoku's appearance vividly.
"So you claim you're not a pirate? But wasn't your kidnapping of Marine Captain Hina pretty much a pirate move? The World Government wanted to recruit you, you know. I'll have to let them know you turned down the chance to be a Shichibukai."
"It's not your place to define my actions. I see myself as rescuing her, releasing her from the burdens of serving the Celestial Dragons, and uplifting her to be my Divine consort!"
"You..." Sengoku couldn't find the words, as he knew that the Marines really was just the lapdogs of the Celestial Dragons.
"Garp mentioned that you can personalize the nicknames for bounties. Just put "Divine Lightning Emperor, God James" on my bounty order and set the amount to 5 billion Berry."

James ceased any further arguments and announced the name he wanted to be known by in the world.
"Young man, you've got some nerve to give me a Bounty Name! Do you understand that once it's out there, the Four Emperors of the New World will hunt you down endlessly!"
"Just let them come. Isn't that what you wanted to see the most?"
The Den Den Mushi opened its mouth blankly, speechless for a while.
After a few breaths, Sengoku began to speak again, but his tone suddenly became low.
"Hina... Is she doing alright? Her teacher, Zephyr, is concerned about her."
"Don't worry, Hina is perfectly fine! She's healthy and beautiful thanks to my attention. You might get to see my child with her next year. I'll definitely have you over for the banquet!"
"Fine, fine! I'll go ahead and meet your bounty request, but 5 billion berries? That's just not happening. And get ready, because the Four Emperors are going to be after you!"
Sengoku found his arrogant tone so irritating that he couldn't help but angrily laugh before hanging up the Den Den Mushi right away.

With a sudden pop of the bubble, Garp opened his eyes to the sound of the Den Den Mushi hanging up.
