'Save the Humanity' a novel much appreciated by its readers and a novel of which I am the biggest fan, was put on hold for unknown reasons while the main plot had not even finished:

Several years ago, thousands of mysterious towers appeared worldwide, . People believed these towers had no end. One year after their sudden appearance, monsters began emerging from them, wreaking havoc across the globe. In just three years, 40% of the world's population was wiped out.  

After years of living under constant danger, certain humans awakened supernatural powers and obtained a system. These individuals were called hunters or rankers if they got a system. Thanks to their strength and magical abilities, humanity pushed back the monsters and built fortresses to protect themselves from future invasions.  

I am Kim Sugil, the strongest ranker in the novel 'Save the Humanity.' Alongside the protagonist and his friends, I fight to save the world. But originally, I wasn’t supposed to be a key character. I was merely an extra, someone barely mentioned in the story.

Following my order, Park Ho-Bong immediately complied, leaving me alone to face the group of goblins. 


Red goblins have the same characteristics and rank [Rank F] as regular goblins, but what sets them apart is their rarity. In the novel, it's mentioned that their skin is highly sought after on the market.

Before I could analyze the situation further, one of the red goblins leaped from the shadows, its rusty dagger gleaming under the dim light. 


I barely raised my short sword in time, deflecting the attack at the last second. But another goblin took advantage of the opening and lunged at my side. 


Luckily, my body reacted instinctively thanks to the points I had put into agility, allowing me to dodge the vicious attack just in time. With a fluid motion, I drove my sword into the first goblin's chest. 


Its piercing scream faded as its body stiffened, then collapsed. 


The other goblins hesitated for a moment, but seeing the state I was in after taking down just one, two of them shook off their fear and charged at me simultaneously, trying to overwhelm me with numbers. 


I stepped back and activated [Dash] in the same motion to dodge their assault.

Suddenly, my body surged forward, my sword cutting a swift arc through the air. The blade sliced through flesh, and the goblins collapsed under the impact. 


Only two remained. My breath was short, but my mind was sharp. 


The last goblins exchanged glances, hesitant. Then, nodding to each other, they slowly advanced toward me. 


Turning toward the source of the scream, my expression darkened slightly. Not because it was serious, but because the scene in front of me was just… embarrassing. 


Park Ho-Bong was currently being chased by one of the red goblins, desperately trying to fend it off with a wooden stick. 


Seriously, how did he even manage to find [The Nameless Tree] when he panics over goblins like this? 


'And I specifically told him to hide properly…' 


I sighed and refocused on the two goblins in front of me. 


For now, I had to take care of these two.
