Finally, he showed me the location and I quietly wrote it down and then I saw another address 'What's this?' I asked, 'It's the location to the Freshers' party happening this evening, you should come' he said, 'No, thankyou' I said and then left.
~Jayden's Pov~
I looked at Adams and saw that he was in a sober mood, that alcohol really took a toil on him, I told him not to drink last night, he was looking like a 12 year old boy who just got his heart broken by a girl.
That alcohol was to intoxicating and he had to go further to start a dare with the neighbouring college boys and so he drank a lot of alcohol cause he lost to them, I told him not to do it, an hour later we were done with class and we had only one class on Fridays, straight to the field, I guess, 'Adams, coach is not gonna be around today, so I guess it's me and you handling the boys' I told him.
We went to our Locker room, got changed and went straight to the field, 'Okay, boys, line up, line up'.
After the practice, we were all sweaty and dirty and that's when I saw the journalist girl Adams told me about, Mari, sitting on a sports chair by the side of the field, with a note and a pen in-between her fingers.
'Hey, Adams, isn't that your girl for tonight' I asked, nodding towards her, 'Bro, I am not in the mood' he said and walked out of the field.
I ran after him realizing he was gone getting inside the locker room, I slammed the door 'Bro, what's the problem?' I asked, feeling initiated.
'Jayden, I just freaking put myself in a net!?' he spilled, 'You mean, last night?' I asked, he said 'Yeah', I say 'Adams, I told you not to roll with those guys, but you didn't listen, they offered a truth or dare game, I told you not to play and you did and got yourself drink to stupor and now you're having a hangover in class!
Look, Adams, you might be brothers and we got each other's back but that doesn't mean we act senseless, reckless or stupid, we have to use our brains!' I scolded him
' I know, I know but damn, that's not even my problem right now' he said grunting, pacing around the room with his hands on his hair gripping it so tight and I know that moment that whatever was getting to my nest friend this way was worth fixing, 'Okay, tell me, what is?' I asked, 'It's the bet!' he said with a worried face, shocked I say 'Dude, seriously, a bet!?', 'Yed', 'Byt dude, I wad with you the whole time, when did this happen?', 'I don't know, I was wasted the whole time', 'So what does the bet entail?', 'The bet says date a girl for 6 months without having sex with her until the last day' he said, 'Dude, for 6 months, that's impossible!' I replied, 'I know right, I can't even keep a girl for a month, talk more of months' he did, 'so what if you lose the bet, what would be the effect?'
'You know it, if I lose the bet I have to give him a ticket to the exclusive dinner party, the one my dad is hosting, you know it holds only once every year and not every kind of person is allowed into the arena, take less of the insides' he replied with reluctance, 'Oh, I see, then what if you win then, what's your reward' I asked eager to hear his reply, 'They said they are gonna give our soccer team, one of their best soccer players to play with us in the upcoming international seasonal match with Koreans, you know how long we've been begging them for this?'
'Wait, bro, the ISM, bro, you have to win this bet!' Jayden suddenly says shouting.
'I know right, I mean we only got to play this match once in a lifetime for three reasons, it's so worth it's
We cheer up and laugh for a second 'Okay, now that one's settled, you're definitely going to win this bet' I said to James
'Okay, so you gonna go along with Mari right?'
'I don't know, but after tonight, if she's my taste she'll be girl I choose' and with that said Jayden lives the room.
I say as I smirk darkly, I scoff, '6 months for a playboy, right?, No problem'.
