No one's POV
In the meantime, Lucy had arrived at Starlight Carnival. It wasn't really a planet; it was more like a parade of enormous ships appearing from nowhere, and Lucy was on one of them.
Lucy: How do I find a generator with so many ships??
She looked around but saw nothing. The place was beautiful, sure, but she didn't have time to enjoy herself. She entered one of the ships, which was like a nightclub with projectors everywhere. She saw robots in front of capsules filled with Wisps. She attacked the enemies with her starry whip, destroying 6 robots. After defeating the last one, she realized she was on a red platform with a drawing of a mustachioed doctor's head. A mechanism activated, and it was an elevator that, instead of lifting her gently, shot her up high into the air, causing her to leave the ship and fall into the void.
Lucy (panicked): Why do I always get ejected!?
As she fell, she landed on a purple road that slid in all directions beneath her like a conveyor belt.
Lucy: I hate these rides!
She noticed the road expanding, and then a horde of ladybug-patterned robot motorcycles charged toward her. She began running to escape them, but they were faster than her. One of them started hitting her, but she dodged by jumping onto its head and riding it, crashing into the other moto-bugs, releasing white Wisps. One of them entered Lucy's body, giving her the energy needed to run a long marathon and escape the motorcycles. That's when she had an idea.
Lucy: Open up, Spirit Gate: Come to me, Gemini!
Gemini: What should we transform into?
Lucy: Become Happy!
It transformed into Happy, picked Lucy up, and they entered another ship. It dropped her onto the colorful floor.
Lucy: If I had known, I would have chosen a planet with at least some solid ground.
Lucy calmed her mind and continued her escape through the ship. She went outside to the roof and admired the beautiful view, watching ships appear from nowhere.
Lucy: I wonder where all these ships are heading.
She sat down, watching the direction the ships were heading. A few minutes later, she saw the chain extending from Tropical Resort and turned her gaze to the end, spotting the generator in front of her. She took out her whip and swung from ship to ship until she reached the generator, now just one platform away. She saw orange robots charging toward her, shooting lasers with their guns. She summoned Taurus to deal with them while she figured out how to reach the other side. Taurus destroyed all the robots, releasing green Wisps, one of which entered Lucy.
HOVER! She transformed and floated toward the generator at full speed. She returned to her original form when the alien left her body.
Lucy: Wow, that was weird, but thanks.
Green Wisp: ✓®=${×|=.
Lucy: Too bad I don't understand what you're saying.
Lucy (moving toward the generator): Well, it's time to destroy it. Come to me, Loki!
Loki: Don't worry, it'll be like it's already done.
He jumped forward with a glowing fist to destroy it, but was intercepted by a purple laser fired by a machine that Dr. Robotnik had just created.
Dr. Robotnik: How dare you interrupt my well-done work.
Lucy: What are you doing to him?
Dr. Robotnik: Oh, nothing too bad, I was just testing my hypnotizer cannon on your dear friend.
Loki fainted but then stood up, his eyes now purple and looking angry.
Dr. Robotnik: Thanks to these aliens, I was able to create an invention that can make all of you fall under my control.
Lucy: Loki, answer me, are you okay?
Loki:.....
Lucy: Stop this immediately!
Dr. Robotnik: Already? I was just about to spice things up by forcing him to attack you.
Loki slowly started walking toward Lucy.
Lucy: Loki, resist, you know you don't want to do this.
He was about to punch her with his magic, but he finally fainted.
Lucy: Loki!!!
Dr. Robotnik: What a low-quality energy! (looking at the back of his machine) I'm out of juice? But I'll have more, much more thanks to my extractors, and even you won't be able to stop me.
He disappeared, and then a purple ship emerged behind the generator, firing a missile at Lucy, who barely dodged after making Loki disappear. She launched her whip at the robot, which caught it and pulled her toward the void. She couldn't let go, and she eventually left the platform, sliding onto the purple road that appeared just in time. Lucy kept her feet firmly planted as the ship moved away with her. The ship dumped Wisp capsules onto Lucy, which she dodged by swaying left and right. She broke the capsules one by one, releasing aliens of various colors. A cyan Wisp entered her body.
LASER!
She transformed into a laser that pierced the robot, dismembering it with its machine guns. Its carcass began to decompose and then exploded, sending Lucy flying off the purple road and into the void again.
Lucy (screaming): I really should have chosen another planet!!!
A Green Wisp entered her body again, making her float toward the generator. The generator had just shut down, and she saw several green Wisps flying into the sky. Her hairpin began to vibrate.
Sonic: Lucy, you did it!!! That's amazing.
Lucy: That was really exhausting with all this gravity and weightlessness.
Sonic: Now we just have to wait for the others to finish deactivating their generators.
Lucy: Wait, it's over?
Sonic: Well, technically, yes. You can go sightseeing if you want.
Lucy: No thanks, I'd rather do that on another planet. I've had enough of this one.
Accompanied by the Green Hover Wisp, she continued her adventure in the area while waiting for the others to complete their missions.
